Sounds good, Frank! We had taco night last night. I had some seitan and Field Roast that I hoarded early that need to be used up, so there's left over fillings that I am going to have under eggs pretty damn soon here.

Fun story: I went from a small liberal arts college quite close to here to a large midwestern state school for an MFA. When I was walking around looking for restaurant work the first week, I saw signs announcing the upcoming Greek Week. I was so excited at the idea that a community that large could get that excited about performances of Sophocles and Aristophanes ...

Regarding Greek Week/Frat nonsense: My freshman year at Queens College, some guy came up to me asking if I wanted to "rush". Not knowing the lingo, I thought he was asking me something about the band Rush, who I am a fan of and who I might have very well been wearing a t-shirt of on that day, which prompted him to have to explain to me just what the hell he was talking about.

Here's a MS-board-relevant-adjacent question: Are people still maintaining large grocery stockpiles and additionally trying to get to the stores less frequently? Or has shopping been normalized enough that no one is stressing about that anymore?

@me, Geoffrey? No. It's MLB's cack-handed responses to COVID, the naked money grabbing of the owners at the risk of the lives not just of players but of the much more working-class clubhouse and grounds personnel. MLB proves again and again it will do the least possible to safeguard lives or take a stand against injustice as long as the cash keeps flowing. Its antilabor positions toward its own employees and product and the minor leagues just depresses me. I love the game. I hate the league. Usually once the games start up I can get over it enough to get enthused. This year, less so.
