Happy Wotan'sday Whatever Folk !

LunaMoon is waning ...
New Moon will be on the 18th this month. The waxing (getting fuller & brighter like it's being waxed!) Moon is considered the time to start things you want to grow & come to fullness - as the witches & the gardeners know...
LunaMoon will enter chatty restless versatile Gemini @ 9:46 Eastern coming up this morning - where she'll be til Friday 19:35 Eastern.
The 90° Square between hot fiery red Mars - now in his own impulsive direct sign of Aries for an unusually long time! - & deep inexorable powerful Pluto now in serious practical earthy climbing Capricorn - has been building & is exact @ 3:14 A.M. Eastern early Thursday morning here. We've seen volcano action in Indonesia - & hopefully no major violence or power plays...
Maybe use that Gemini Moon to think, communicate & talk it out !

I asked Dave if it weren't time to do a fresh survey. I have a feeing rapping sopranos backed with bagpipes and tubas would still be on the list.

Sylvia, here's my recipe: 4 cups rolled oats, 1/2 cup oil (peanut works well), 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (or combination). Bake on sheet for 30 min. Cool 30 min. To the mix I add a good handful of nuts, some seeds, etc. I find that using parchment paper helps keep it from burning and makes cleaning up easier. Also experimenting with Agave syrup...

All Dave needs is an online form, I'd think. Much easier to poll folks than back in the '90s.

Fun "Most Unwanted" fact: the kids singing are Max & Kate who used to do reviews on WFMU's Greasy Kid Stuff show.

There were only 2 kids singing? Sounded like an entire choir!

i remember being thrilled the first time i had granola. it was quaker (?) "100% natural cereal" it was full of nuts and crunchy and clumpy and must've been 1/2 as sweet as the perversion that goes by that name today.
