Avatar 7:06pm βrian:

91.1 FM is Christian-themed radio around here. Oy.
Avatar 7:06pm slugluv1313:

good evening, Devon and Skeletons and everyone!
yeah, 91.1 is still out :(
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:06pm ultradamno:

We lost a lot when people stopped trying to fit the words "rock" and "roll" as many times as possible into one song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm mariano:

Heya Devon and all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Evening. Projector fixed or still time for concessions ??...
Avatar 🎸 7:09pm Snortley:

Power is out in a wide swath of NJ, including the 91.1 transmitter site. It's lucky the Jersey City building is all right.
  7:09pm prudy:

remnants of hurricane are likely causing problems...
Avatar 7:10pm βrian:

Igor: "What hurricane?"
  7:16pm Martinibomb:

Gonna miss John Saxon

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm Pauly from Clifton:

Hi Devon. Great tribute to a fine actor. Shares my birthday. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Handy Haversack:

John Saxon also was in Mitchell. Cedar lattice. Works every time.
  7:26pm Martinibomb:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm mariano:

Nicely paired, the Simonetti and Schifrin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm Feldpausch:

@Handy Haversack I forgot he worked with the Great Joe Don Baker
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29pm Handy Haversack:

"How do you take your scotch, Mitchell?"
Avatar 7:29pm slugluv1313:

Avatar 7:34pm slugluv1313:

what a cool tribute for John Saxon
91.1 back on the air, but still listening online too -- PERFECT!
  7:35pm Martinibomb:

this track, "Mark Colplace Ancora" always reminds me of higher ground
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm Pauly from Clifton:

I thought I heard "Children of the Grave" in that "Mark Colplace Ancora" tune.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm mariano:

Oh, I want "Big Fight" to be the opening-credits music to my TV show!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:41pm ultradamno:

Bigfoot always comes back.
Avatar 7:41pm slugluv1313:

@ Pauly from Clifton -- Happy Birthday!
hah! i was hearing the "Bewitched" TV show theme song in that "Young Love" tune earlier :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm mariano:

I'm old enough to have had a Steve Austin (the bionic man) action figure and the Bigfoot figure. Though he looked more Jerry Garcia than Sasquatch. www.pinterest.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Joyeux Leonine Solar Return Pauly !
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:44pm ultradamno:

He does look like he's about to say "who wants to go Truckin'?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I was so into superhero action figures it's not even funny.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm mariano:

Lol ultradamno. He was also inexplicably a really good guitarist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm Pauly from Clifton:

@slugluv1313, thanks! I couldn't put my finger on it, but you got it! "Bewitched"! Elizabeth Montgomery may have been my first crush. And Barbara Eden.
Avatar 7:45pm slugluv1313:

@ mariano -- oh gosh! the full-sized doll? those Bionic Man action figures are apparently huge collectors' items these days
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:46pm ultradamno:

I remember having a Green Arrow one that was very Robin Hood.
  7:47pm Martinibomb:

RD Burman always killin' it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm Pauly from Clifton:

@mariano Cool! I wanted the Steve Austin action figure so bad, but my parents thought I already had too many GI Joes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:50pm mariano:

slugluv: That's the one! There was even an action figure of his boss, Oscar Goldman. Pauly: Yeah, over a span of years I had a GI Joe and there was also one called Big Jim, who had a flexing bicep. Got so pissed off in 2nd grade when my teacher referred to my Bionic Man as a doll :P
  7:51pm Martinibomb:

that bionic woman trac k was REALLY good!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm mariano:

Ooh, and Stretch Armstrong.
Avatar 7:51pm slugluv1313:

@ Pauly from Clifton -- TOTALLY! yeah i loved Samantha and Jeannie -- their magic powers, Jeannie's costumes, their over-all sweetness -- just always thought they were surrounded by dorky guys :(
Cat Woman and Honey West and Mrs. Peel were like my childhood "role models," i wanted to grow up to BE them
  7:53pm text:

Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:54pm ultradamno:

I had one of those. An odd toy that virtually invited kids to indulge their sadistic streaks (let's come up with something like a rack to him on).

Eventually mine, in some way or another, I'm not on trial here, split open. It was full of a red gel. I'm not going to say that was unsatisfying.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm Pauly from Clifton:

@mariano yeah the "doll" thing was infuriating at that age. @slugluv1313 I hear ya! Especially Emma Peel. Which Catwoman by the way?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm mariano:

Yep, Stretch was full of red gel, I remember that.

Thanks Devon, bye everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I had a side line in those 12'' figures ...but the 8" superhero figures I *collected*... There was some FMUvian wrote an essay about G.I. Joe - then another wrote an answer about being downscale with Action Jackson...
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:56pm ultradamno:

Up there with Deep Red and Cat for my favorite Argento that isn't Suspiria
Avatar 7:57pm slugluv1313:

@mariano -- that is awesome! (i know someone who paid a LOT of money for a Steve Austin figure, spaceship, accessories)
and yeah, for some reason when they are little, they are called "action figures," when larger, "dolls" -- especially by Moms, female teachers, etc. -- even know! (recalling a Mom's comment about an Action Jackson figure, referring to him as a "doll")
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm mariano:

There was an artist in San Francisco in the 90s who made some really funny photos of GI Joes at gay beach parties and such.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm Devon E. Levins:

Thanks for listening All. Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space) rescheduled to next Tuesday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58pm mariano:

slugluv: Yes, Action Jackson, how could I forget!
Avatar 7:58pm slugluv1313:

@ Pauly from Clifton -- Julie Newmar!
i know there were others, equally cool, but she was my first impression :)
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 7:59pm ultradamno:

Thanks Devon! Skeletons! Great show.

Yes, Newmar is Catwoman forever!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:59pm loveless:

Devon, thanks for an exceptional show!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 8:00pm ultradamno:

I did like Camren Bicondova on Gotham, but the show was pretty bad.
Avatar 8:00pm slugluv1313:

thanks you so very very much, Devon -- fantastic show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

There is no bad Catwomans.

Seriously - Julie, Barbara - the most stuoendous women.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Pauly from Clifton:

Julie Newmar was great. My fave!

Thanks, Devon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Pauly from Clifton:
