Hi-trying to move my daughter out of her Manhattan apartment, beef frame doesn't fit through the door, and screws are stripped. Anyone know how to remove stripped screws?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm Webhamster Henry:

@drjazz - I file a new slot with a Dremel or something and unscrew it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Webhamster Henry:

If the heads aren't countersunk, I file the head's edges and use a pliers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Webhamster Henry:

I also give up a lot.
  12:10pm Bill W:

Greetings Cholly and listeners; may you have an august August.
Avatar 12:11pm Brian in UK:

doc, drill them out. Drastic but effective.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm doctorjazz:

Webmaster Harry-once you mentioned dremel, I knew what I have to do...hire someone! (I brought pliers, but the screws ARE recessed and can't be reached).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm Charlie:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm coelacanth∅:

i also must reupholster a chair, some day. it's a sturdy wooden chair that's collapsible. i picked it from a junk pile. it's funny because it's folded width is around 12" thick. it barely takes any less space folded than it does open.
... it actually would make some good firewood.

Abergavenny is in Wales, but The Abergavenny Arms is a pub in Rodmell, down the road from us, where Virginia Woolf threw herself in the river.
Avatar 12:58pm Peter Nelson:

'Aber' is old celtic for river mouth, both Scottish and Welsh, in case you needed to know that.
