	1:20am Fox: Shit. I cooked this Trader Joe's spicy chorizo in my oven and left it in it's plastic casing. Is that toxic? Should I not eat it? It didn't melt at all.

	♥ 1:23am spodiodi: there are a couple of other such foods, coel. can't recall offhand he would eat: bricks, razor blades, and entire chocolate bares wrapped in foil. those things are all also not good for them. :)

	♥ 1:29am slugluv1313: my dear departed little BAD BRAIN ate all sorts of bizarre stuff -- avocado, raisins, used q-tips (i know, ewww! that is why i stopped throwing q-tips in the bathroom's non-covered waste basket
	1:31am Fox: Ozzie is a short squat cat who hardly meows, and just goes "mmMMMph" and rolls on his back like a dog for belly rubs. He is obsessed with food. Miss Kitka used to literally steal pairs of earings off my vanity one at a time and place them in the center of my bed, as her prize. She meows loudly and is bossy.
	♥ 1:31am coelacanth∅: as a teenager our downstairs neighbors' one cat...the cat with the stupidest name i've ever heard of,"pusser", would disappear for many months at a time. we all finally figured out that he kept getting kidnapped (kitnapped?) by someone who lives up at the end of the block.
	♥ 1:31am spodiodi: the bathroom trash was my dog's fave place to find goodies like razor blades.
	1:31am Fox: Miss Kitka's nickname is Drooly Newmar because she drools like a Saint Bernanrd when she's happy. It's so gross.

	♥ 1:35am slugluv1313: i worked at an animal hospital, crash course in all the crazy stuff dogs, cats, turtles, birds, reptiles, etc. could get into during the Winter, we would have poinsettia plants on the counter of the reception desk -- some clients would be horrified, but turns out the plants are not fatal, may just make a cat sick, IF the cat actually chews on the plant -- most cats avoid them like the plague!

	♥ 1:37am coelacanth∅: a different downstairs neighbor had a cat (max?) who was 22 or 23 years old last i saw him. he was skinny and raggedy looking and moved jerkily. he'd disappear for days or weeks always but finally left the house near the beginning of a 1-2' of snow storm and never returned.

	1:43am Fox: My cats were rescues from my back yard, but their daddy was a ragdoll, so they are super scared, but also the more docile cats I've ever known.
	♥ 1:44am slugluv1313: @ coelacanthø -- yeesh, did these neighbors not bother to get their cats neutered? when i was growing up, family up the street had a Siamese cat who they were going to breed -- so they never got him "fixed" -- he would disappear for days too (sometimes showing up at my family's house to "visit" with our cats, hah!) -- one day he went off to wander and never came back :(
	♥ 1:45am coelacanth∅: slugluv our house apparently got marked. cats left in baskets by our back door more than once (top of an enclosed staircase,2nd floor -past the downstairs door)
	♥ 1:46am spodiodi: slugluv, i think one of those neglected cats ended up moving into my father's place, and onto his lap, where it pretty much stayed until they both moved on, around the same time
	♥ 1:47am spodiodi: it followed him home from a yard sale in his neighborhood and never left

	♥ 1:49am coelacanth∅: well -2 different neighbors. the one with "pusser" had another cat, Sebastian, that we took inside and hid for a few weeks when the people were moving out. (in other words we stole him) he was neutered. then when Large Marge moved in with Max (?) he was likely neutered.

	♥ 1:55am coelacanth∅: slugluv i say Large Marge in a most respectful way! she was an older, retired and long-widowed woman with a pituitary condition that made her hands and feet keep growing. she worked with wood in the basement and gardened most days -always with a glass of wine. she was a beautiful person.

(my mother vetoed that)

Miss Kitka used to literally steal pairs of earings off my vanity one at a time and place them in the center of my bed, as her prize. She meows loudly and is bossy.

	♥ 1:35am slugluv1313: i worked at an animal hospital, crash course in all the crazy stuff dogs, cats, turtles, birds, reptiles, etc. could get into during the Winter, we would have poinsettia plants on the counter of the reception desk -- some clients would be horrified, but turns out the plants are not fatal, may just make a cat sick, IF the cat actually chews on the plant -- most cats avoid them like the plague!
