Talk's Cheap and WFMU's Give the Drummer Radio denounce explicit and implicit racism.

We condemn the culture of white supremacy, which enables the brutalization of black people and other communities of color.

We support Black Lives Matter and the movement it stands for.

Albert "Tootie (sometimes Toudie)" "Kuumba" Heath. Any person with more than one nickname is, by textbook definition, a cool person.
Avatar 12:59pm Marc Francis:

Techno has always been black music. I didn't realize people thought otherwise?
Avatar 1:01pm Marc Francis:

I mean, sure, there were a lot of east German punks who picked up drum machines and made techno too. But they were all 100% inspired by Detroit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Doug Schulkind:

7pm Saturday eastern standard time is 9am Sunday morning in Melbourne!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm Jeff Golick:

V cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24pm coelacanth∅:

remembering back to when techno came to exist, i never once thought of it as "black" music. if anything i considered it an offshoot of disco (which it was) primarily made by "white" people.
the truth is i never have and still don't know much about anyone who creates techno -probably least of all what hue their skin is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm coelacanth∅:

Avatar 1:47pm Sem:
