It is very well known and trendy now, but for a long time prior to GPS it was impossible to find, and way back it was a brothel apparently. Anyway, there used to be a picture in the bar area of young bob dylan at the same bar talking to joan baez (I think). Sadly, a few years back they moved the picture somewhere else in the establishment.

It was rippin', and to show you how green we were at the time as 20 year olds, we all walked out saying: Did you hear that new song Jerry wrote, "Tangled Up In Blues?" ;) Duh. The arrangement was like an Irish lullaby or something, just piano and bowed string bass. It was an 80 year old man singing about the girl from 60 years ago, you know what I mean? Was really moving.

I mean Pitchfork dumping on an Eno pop album, I might get… But dumping on an ambient record that is more Roger Eno than Brian Eno is some new level of “Okay, let’s take the wind out their sails…” nonsense. I mean who will actually buy and listen to a new Brian Eno ambient album?

It is very well known and trendy now, but for a long time prior to GPS it was impossible to find, and way back it was a brothel apparently. Anyway, there used to be a picture in the bar area of young bob dylan at the same bar talking to joan baez (I think). Sadly, a few years back they moved the picture somewhere else in the establishment.

The arrangement was like an Irish lullaby or something, just piano and bowed string bass. It was an 80 year old man singing about the girl from 60 years ago, you know what I mean? Was really moving.
