I remember going to my friend's house at that time and he had The Fool Around album by Rachel Sweet, he also had Stateless by Lene Lovich and many other Stiff albums from that period. He always used to play them when I would visit. This guy was starting to have some mental issues. One day a friend and I go to his house and he puts on Rachel Sweet, and his mother walks in and says no Stiff music anything but Stiff music, it's affecting him. I will never forget that.

@Clarke, It must have presented something of a challenge, but Levy was up to it. My point was that Dylan was asked about that line and he said it was just because he needed a rhyme, sort of undercutting the meanings people like to read in to his work.

the way i figure it, there's no reason to want to hear something, on the radio, anymore. requests seem to be a thing of the past, because one can EASILY listen to ANYthing they want to, personally. not the way i grew up, but the way it is.

Alan, overall on-line teaching had exceeded expectations! But, I particularly am not fond of Ted Talks, and the idea of leaning on them so heavily seems wrong to me. But overall - teachers, especially starting their careers, need higher wages.
