  3:21am Bill Zebub:

Thou shalt hear more - please offer thy opinions.
  3:22am Bjarne:

Good morning professor. Weird hearing Norwegian on the air
  3:23am Bill Zebub:

Bjarne there shall be more non-English languages -
  3:24am Bjarne:

Not complaining btw
  3:24am Scott Williams:

Bill Speaks! So glad to have you back on the air
  3:24am Bill Zebub:

Your name makes me think there is no complaint, ha ha.

Bill Z, G, Bjarne, Scott - good evening/morning!
  3:25am Bill Zebub:

Scott Williams, I felt fortunate to be following your show.
  3:25am Bill Zebub:

Thank you for joining, Mariano
  3:26am Scott Williams:

Bill, I felt fortunate to be the meat of a Spazz-Dum sandwich (...ok, and a little uncomfortable)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31am Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

I'll be the pickle!
Well, spank my ungly baby Jesus, it's Prof Dum Dum! Hail!
  3:32am Bill Zebub:

Bjarne, I am going to play Skogens Lengsel for you... just give it some time (from Midnattsol)
  3:32am Bill Zebub:

Granny Spicy Tuna, I have chosen music for you... based on how much you appreciated this sort of music in the past.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33am Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

I appreciate that! Really excited to hear your program tonight!
  3:34am Bill Zebub:

It is all for thee, my lady.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38am Ken From Hyde Park:

Greetings, Professor and overnighters. Glad to be around this at this hour.
  3:38am Hi from Holland:

Aloha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39am Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

It's been too long since i've huddled in the dark, naked, trembling and alone, feeling the aural assault of such songs.
  3:40am Bill Zebub:

Greetings oh one from Holland
  3:40am Bill Zebub:

Greetings, Ken - it has been a long time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44am mariano:

Granny: and grooving with a Pict?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45am Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Why the hell not, hey? Good to see you here, mariano.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45am Fox:

Hooray, your comments are open!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46am Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Fox: bring 'em!
  3:47am Bill Zebub:

Hello Miss Fox!
Scott Williams solved the riddle of the live stream
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48am mariano:

Good to see you too, Granny!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48am Fox:

I think I prefer Mister. Like Star Trek. Everyone is a mister! Mister Fox, please.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50am Mx. Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

I'll go for the gender neutral style, thank you!
  3:50am Bill Zebub:

Fox - yes, when I first played a Star Trek role-playing game (like D&D) I discovered that everyone was called "Mr."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58am Ignatatus666:

It took a world wide plague to get the Professor back on the air
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58am Fox:

When you say it, does Mx sound like "micks"?
  4:01am Bill Zebub:

Fate will often spare an undoomed man if his courage is good.

Good to see you're keeping the faith, Ignatatus.
  4:04am Bill Zebub:

The Ugly baby jesus must pay.... perhaps on my next show there shall be poetry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:05am mariano:

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
  4:06am Bill Zebub:

Know ye not me? Not to know me argues thyself unknown.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08am Ignatatus666:

I like the ingredients in Chinese food with the one we shall refer to as ugly
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10am Ignatatus666:

Yes Mariano of course. Another listener used it in the last2 days. Of course it goes well with the ugly baby Jesus replacement in Salmon Terryaki
  4:10am Bill Zebub:

Ugly baby jesus fried rice
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10am Ignatatus666:

Where’s King Dean?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11am Ignatatus666:

With egg of course
  4:11am Scott Williams:

These guys (Warrel Dane) must be Canadian
  4:11am Bill Zebub:

Jesus multiplied with fish... the miracle of mermaids and mermen....
  4:12am Bill Zebub:

The father of Canada is Cana... dada
  4:14am Bill Zebub:

Scott - those are Brazilian guitar players. The next song is specifically for you... (Warel Dane - the singer, died last year - he is from pacific northwest
  4:19am Scott Williams:

Thanks Bill, never woulda guessed Brazil! The Selcouth is for me? I'm liking the jumpy guitar player a lot.
  4:20am Bill Zebub:

It is multi-national experimental Scott - a favorite record of mine. When I heard you play Zappa on your guitar I knew that you could appreciate such experimental stuff
  4:23am Scott Williams:

Bill, I loved all the mixing of different styles (we're talking Selcouth, right?)
  4:27am Bill Zebub:

Yes -Selcouth - I will play more on my next show (as well as much more bizarre-to-the-acerage-ear music)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29am mariano:

Speaking of Brazilian guitarists, I was at a rock festival in '94, several stages. A friend of mine said "Ooh, there's a Brazilian band at this other stage, I'd love to hear some Brazilian music." I looked at the name: Sepultura. I told him they were a thrash/death metal band. He said that was the stupidest thing he'd ever heard and that I was being a know-it-all. A Brazilian metal band! Where do you get this stuff?
  4:32am Bill Zebub:

Mariano - some people have no idea how strong the various metal scenes are in South America, and how far players have exported (Like Luis Galvez from Chile who formed Tristitia in Sweden). As bands what it is like to play in Mexico and Brazil and they will tell surprising tales,
  4:33am J is A:

It's like watching a Bill Zebub movie in the background while you work from home...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37am mariano:

Bill - yeah, metal's yuuuuge in Latin America. Flight 666, the Iron Maiden documentary, has some amazing concert footage. They played to around 300,000 people in Brazil iirc.
  4:40am Bill Zebub:

J is A - wouldst thou like to plug thy band here? (do not plug my wares, though - it is conflict of interest)
  4:43am J is A:

Not my band, a former band member is in Summoner's Circle doing their own black metal meets southern blues type thing.
  4:43am J is A:

For anyone who wants to give it a spin: https://youtu.be/DHkVCyQbtaw
  4:47am Scott Williams:

J is A: feel free to plug Bill's wares, that's fair game for you here, s'long as he's not doing it. I recommend Bill's early cartoony shorts!
  4:48am Bill Zebub:

Scott - I was just enjoying the oldies that we shot at WFMU in East Orange
  4:49am Bill Zebub:

That was when I was constantly discovering the magic of WFMU.
  4:49am J is A:

He wrote a book of corny poetry. Did he threaten to read it on air yet?
  4:52am Bill Zebub:

Listeners write and recite poems on the air - thou shalt hear on the next show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55am mariano:

Thanks for the link, J is A: got it queued up for after the show.
  5:02am Scott Williams:

Bill, same here! Magic discovery period, 1996-97 - I learned so much. Hey, we were classmates! You, me and Maryann Ciba, class of '96
  5:29am Scott Williams:

Bill - send this one to Ken pronto, instant hit for the Satanic Host of the Wednesday morning show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29am mariano:

Ah, clever. Norwegian wood = burning Norwegian churches. I see what they did there.
  5:31am Bill Zebub:

Scott - I meant to make a disc of music for Ken... I can make one for you as well.
  5:34am Scott Williams:

Bill, please do. Time for me to go, the rain is finally clearing and I've gotta be up by.... I dunno, whenever. Good night Bill and all friends!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40am Ignatatus666:

So glad to hear the King from the Fate days. I thought you would have opened with it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41am Ken From Hyde Park:

Take care, Skeleton Scott. Have a good weekend.
  5:44am Bill Zebub:

Ignatatus666 I wanted to ease people into it. This is also why I played no death metal - it is not my regular slot. My next show is going to be more kooky - to show people that there are many strange sides to metal
  5:46am Bjarne:

Ohh, Thank you professor! Norway is very well represented today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47am Ken From Hyde Park:

God morgen, Bjarne. How's the virus situation over there?
  5:48am Bill Zebub:

Bjarne - next time I shall play more. Please investigate Midnattsol -

Avatar 5:50am Barnaby:

I really liked your show. Hope to hear you more in short future
  5:51am Bill Zebub:

Thank you Barnaby
  5:52am Bill Zebub:

Bjarne - this last Norwegian song is for you - Saturnus
  5:52am Bjarne:

Hello there Ken. It kinda sucks. But compared to the situation over there in New York, it's not so bad. Hope you guys are staying safe!
Stay home and listen to WFMU
  5:53am Bill Zebub:

I appreciate you who listened. I selected songs that I hoped would be enjoyed even by people who do not like metal. I will show some more aspects of the sub-genre next time, but feel free to explore my archives.
  5:56am Bjarne:

@Bill Zebub - Tusen takk for i dag. Bra spilleliste! Hade godt.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58am Ken From Hyde Park:

"Stay home and listen to WFMU" = good idea for a bumper sticker.
Fun show tonight, Bill. Will watch out for your next fill-in.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00am mariano:

Thanks Bill! Take care everyone!
  6:01am Bjarne:

@Bill Zebub - appreciate that. Even though Saturnus is Danish

Avatar 6:04am Creature Boy:

Suppose we hit the body with an atomic supersonic hyperkinetic very powerful lazer beam ?! Can we look into that ?
  6:09am Toothgrinder Tom:

Happy Friday, everyone
