Forward, into the past !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:01pm Rich in Washington:

I'm having a serious thrift store jones going on. It's been more than I month, I think.
Avatar 12:01pm Sem:

Hello, BCS, Rich in Whatchacallit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:02pm Rich in Washington:

Hi Sem!
Avatar 12:03pm BC Sterrett:

Hey Everyone, welcome :) All private press CDs to day
Avatar 12:04pm StringOFperils:

A GIF to match. A for effort!
Avatar 12:06pm Martinibomb:

Hi BC! Listening while I help out fellow wfmu Djs
Avatar 12:07pm BC Sterrett:

Good luck M Bomb :)
Avatar 12:08pm Listener Bob in PGH:

Loving the music, and LOVE that playlist illustration/painting. That's one cool, tall and slim mouse!
Avatar 12:08pm Ursula1000:

moshi moshi
Avatar 12:09pm BC Sterrett:

Mosh Mosh U1K. Thanks listener Bob
Avatar 12:12pm StringOFperils:

Ok, now I feel completely mental again.
Avatar 12:12pm Mr Fab:

Hey all! @Rich, I know what you mean. Driving is so boring now - just str8 to the store, gas station, whatever your essential business is, then go home. No record stores, thrift shops, nuthin....
Avatar 12:13pm Mr Fab:

Ha, would like to hear more from Matt Sherwood, that was nutty.
Avatar 12:13pm chresti:

Morning BC and all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm Rich in Washington:

I have this bin of cast off records I've been meaning to dump somewhere, perhaps trade off (at a loss), etc. I am tempted to shoot a video of me just flipping through it for my fellow shut in cratediggers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Otis in Montreal:

Just made it. Thank you for bringing the thrift store to us during this time.

Howdy all!
Avatar 12:15pm BC Sterrett:

Morning Chresti! Hi Rich!
Avatar 12:15pm StringOFperils:

It's like Barry Very White
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Rich in Washington:

Hi BC!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Otis in Montreal:

Thank you BC for passing me David's comp. I played like 4 cuts from it on the show so far, a fav!
Avatar 12:18pm Martinibomb:

Quick Zine update: It's still there. Just too many other things got in the way. Hope to get it done when I can tho.
Avatar 12:18pm BC Sterrett:

I loved that you began your WFMU show with a David Saelens track Otis!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Otis in Montreal:

My name today mirrors Rich. Actually, sorta like Otis in Montreal. I might just use it! Rich, let me know of any paperwork I need to sign and I'll fax over the terms and conditions today.
Avatar 12:22pm BC Sterrett:

I have no idea what this song is about
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23pm Rich in Washington:

I don't even remember how the shift occurred from my old default profile on blogs, WFMU, etc, a Negativland forum that crashed and burned, etc, from Chardman to Rich in Washington.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25pm Otis in Montreal:

It's a good screen name. I wish I lived in a 'o' town, Otis in Oatsville would be perfect. I see there is an Oatsville in Indiana.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm Otis in Montreal:

So many dreams find the way into thrift store bins. So many good dreams too. I like Onion Head!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm Rich in Washington:

I now regret that I never looked at thrift store CDRs. I always assumed that people stopped being bad/good creative on home media a long time ago.
Avatar 12:27pm Mr Fab:

Yeh, diggin the bloopy bleepy synths!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Rich in Washington:

I should dig up some of the CDRs that would find their way into my mailbox at KBOO. I became the dumping ground for unsolicited CDs and cassettes at the station. 'Rich'll play this!'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Otis in Montreal:

MB - Sheena's Digital Zine will be great. Hope to write something in time as well, keeping the flame burning of the column.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm Otis in Montreal:

Rich, yes please, more more more for your show!
Avatar 12:31pm BC Sterrett:

Ship any crappy cds my way. lol Most of these were radio station rejects.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm Otis in Montreal:

Good time? Chill time? Do it again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm Rich in Washington:

I DO have something that needs to be shared. It's a bonkers CDR which someone had someone get to me. I am somewhat hesitant to do anything with it because of the degrees of Kevin Bacon attached to it, if you follow me.
Avatar 12:35pm BC Sterrett:

I catcha Rich
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Rich in Washington:

Listening to this while A/V Geeks daily live video feed plays, sans sound. It really works!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm Otis in Montreal:

Gotta get back to work here, will catch up in the archives. Thanks BC! See ya everyone!
Avatar 12:42pm BC Sterrett:

Bye Otis!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm Rich in Washington:

Back to work! <whip crack>
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm Rich in Washington:

These finds are incredible, BC!
Avatar 12:47pm BC Sterrett:

I really wish I knew more about them! Especially the Space One. I'll share another track by that Unknown Artist in the future. The un-labled CDR only had 2 songs. BOTH AMAZING!
Avatar 12:48pm Mr Fab:

I see the guy who recorded the great homemade CD-R Otis hosted:
wfmu.org...
at a local grocery store. He checks out my purchases sometimes.
Avatar 12:48pm Mr Fab:

Sounds like a Kat in heat!
Avatar 12:49pm BC Sterrett:

My wife loves Mizar and made this GIF for the show last night
Avatar 12:50pm StringOFperils:

I think his other personality is making a break for it.
Avatar 12:52pm Martinibomb:

Thanks BC!
Avatar 12:54pm chresti:

Thanks BC
Avatar 12:54pm StringOFperils:

Is he marking his territory? Is that even necessary?
Avatar 12:56pm StringOFperils:

After hours at the Percocet Saloon.
Avatar 12:57pm BC Sterrett:

Looks like I have time for one more!
Avatar 12:58pm Ursula1000:

wild selections BC!
Avatar 12:59pm BC Sterrett:

U1K, do you want me to fade this song out? I just saw the time
Avatar 12:59pm chresti:

Just like a poodle, haha.
Avatar 12:59pm Mr Fab:

This is actually a pretty heavy synth groove here.
Avatar 12:59pm Ursula1000:

nah let it play out
Avatar 1:00pm Ursula1000:

stay locked in here 4 for mo' fun! www.wfmu.org...
Avatar 1:00pm Mr Fab:
