Sly Don - the ladies at the Bunny Ranch had to supply services without charge for the Sheriff and deputies. There was so much graft they feared any one of them would rat out to the feds. My ex neighbor built a bunker style fortress to protect himself because according to him he was the only one not crooked and therefore would be fingered if a bust went down. Never did but the sheriff was ousted in an election. Rob lost his job then.

Yep, they were developed to go after assorted vermin. My current Schnauzer does know that the ferrets and Guinea pigs at Petco and Petsmart are off limits though :-) My parents' previous Mini Schnauzer was buddies with a Dwarf Hamster we had at the time in the early 90s. To my knowledge, never did him any harm, even when he was running around loose outside of his floor ball or Hamster Dragster.
