A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

We have a nearby connecting sidewalk bordered on both sides by dense bushes. We often see Cooper's hawks swooping through there at about 4 ft of height, looking to flush out the sparrows who shelter there. It's pretty dramatic if you happen to be walking there.

@D(iL): I'd love to put this image on a record cover! But I didn't create it and I don't have rights to it, it's just a thing I found while searching online.... for, of all things, a DODECAHEDRON pizza! - which I never found, as somebody pointed out the other day, it would probably be too floppy.

@ p20 - but hey, RPGers love you to pieces! :)

Handy, you obviously have a real yen for it though. Sorry, I'll get my coat...

@sphere: funny thing is, I've never played an RPG in my life. But I've been around D&D fiends and I know a little bit of the lingo.

@ p20 - generally, 20-sided dice are associated with D&D instead of other RPGs, so there you go.

p20 - I think it's the vampire squid that wraps itself inside out, and it kind of resembles your pizzahedron when it does. I'm going to check that online now.

p20: Wouldn't be too floppy if it were thin and crispy enough. But then I'm no structural engineer of polyhedral pizzas.

@mariano: Triangles are intrinsically stronger than pentagons. It's like truss-work on a bridge - a triangle has no "give". (And also, you have more delicious crust with 20 sides!)
