Intimate electronics, bad poetry, tender murk, and tired humans making the best of it. Features live sound collaging, too.

Listener comments!
Hi everybodeez!
The fatalist in me says it's too late. The optimist in me say NOT TODAY VIRUS!
@Carmichael: Albany NY
288 Lark & Chateau Lounge, then QE2. I saw Yo La Tengo and the Feelies at QE2 when they were both pretty much local bands (local to the Hudson Valley). And all the great local Albany bands.
That old adage you can’t sprint a marathon? Spread the panic out if you can and chill in any way if you can. Deep breaths and walks around that block. That is honestly allowed in NYC for now. Sunny outside.
And my super didn’t lock my roof access so I get my sun by going up there when I don”t want to go downstairs.
Mental health is massively important nowadays. And Moog and Korg just made a few paid synth apps free specifically due to cooped up stress. pitchfork.com...
@KFHP just posted that on my Facebook page
@PB I am sure they would pull you aside when the shit hit the fan
thank you, scumbag american government.
Oh, my kindly international benefactor's PayPal donation came through for me an hour ago, so, i can at least get my heart back soon!
"n ‘STRESS II’, his first Haunter release, London-based producer
D. Shan creates a meme-like re-imagination of free improvisation through the lens of sample manipulation, drifting from bewildered percussion hits to utter tonal deflagration.
This renders the tape a peculiar soup of electronic dirt in which vocal clippings of circlejerk online discourse and glitch ridden discord mirror a headspace filled with hundreds of conflicting thoughts. Inspiration and sound sources re-trace the producer’s personal history, while delving into low-grade internet folklore and transglobal dance music.
The chaos generated by such a radical approach is but a folk song for the contemporary
experience, a set of angular emotional vectors sublimated into borderline spiritual energy."
Sounding good, Olivia!
www.markbittman.com...
It's not really "no-knead", just "lightly-knead."
YO THIS BRIDGE
not a good idea to clog up the body so much when i might have or get a fairly dangerous virus. i'll hold off on the other one.
Hi, Chresti!
...Doug Shulkind's band's name in high school

Raincoats (failed to give the Ref) Never heard or do not remember this (Shouting Out Loud)#. Is/was obscure? Never owned an lp but thought I heard/saw most??? A bit harder than other songs of theirs?? Thanks Olivia..and all
Things here have sort of normalized in the supermarkets. No more TP frenzy???
Products come and go so it is just necessary to go from one place to
another looking for small things: lemons or spinach or onions ..
In one shop one day, then none, but in a different shop or the
next day. Only issue - no rice for a week. I still have 1/2K so ok.
Fresh milk and OJ, every day - every other day...Still shopping
in the old MKT for potatoes, fruit, veg...
I hope it does not come to actual shortages because people are sick!!!
Title has something about STAKES???? StakeKiller????.
Very wisem @Mr. Pumpy. I don't trust Big Virus Bar either!
the only zombie movie i've ever watched more than a few minutes of is "28 days" (or something like that) -which i liked because it's conceivably possible.
- nonetheless, images i conjured while reading it enter my head not infrequently, 5-10 years after reading it.
i do like seeing movies but it's lower priority to sound and other things i'm only here for a little while.
then all the pretty horses which knocked me down.
- another book the imagery of which revisits my mind often.
then the road.
then i started the crossing and let it go maybe 20-30 pages in.
just seemed like a darker, more tedious continuation of all the pretty horses.
What kinds are you looking at? Silversides? Menhaden?
In taking the ferry back and forth this weekend got a great view of a herring gull struggling to finish its whole eel.
(working w/ Joe McG to get my heart back)
David, WFMU-less funerals can be such a bummer. Glad you come home!
@William Main, yeah, I work for Columbia and they are pretty insistent that only emergency people go in. But that seems to include the AV Dept., so who knows?
Math checks out.
@Mr. P: Kate's review of your review praised its accuracy.
