  3:08pm Shane Braindrain:

Greetings fellow failureites from here in the epic fail that is Brexit Britain
3:09pm Listener Phillip In Bronx Little Italy:

oooohh i like this sound. it like a working machine sound.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm steveo:

The best way to use failure as an opportunity to reflect on your strengths is to hold forth one day upon failure and persistence. Challenge yourself, but never rush to conclusions. Be silent in the presence of failure. Listen to it and then listen to yourself. Repeat the words:

It's not over till it's over.

No one knows how it is to live.

You have to hold out a few days.

The Failure of the 20th Century doesn't seem so bad, twenty years on.
  3:13pm Breaking News:

SAD:(
Kirk Douglas (1916-2020)
Avatar 3:13pm Lixiviated Life:

seated at this desk he feels
the weight of the building above
and the tectonic movement below
and the force of gravity creating dynamic tension
between the static and the fluid
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm chresti:

I like this clonky sound.
  3:15pm Brendan:

It sounds like the natives are restless in a steel drum factory. I hear Money (thats what I want) in there too. Outstanding
  3:15pm John from Florham park:

@Breaking news that happened a couple of days ago
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm chresti:

Wow, what a sight!
  3:17pm Breaking News:

Sorry:( in hospital for a few days. lost sight in left eye for a time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Handy Haversack:

Not sure the shin guards are going to be as useful as he's hoping in the event of an accident. The failure of body armor?
  3:18pm Brendan:

I just heard about Kirk last night. I thought he was great in Lust for Life. Hell, he even looked the part.
  3:20pm choggie:

we should all survive helicopter crashes and live to be 1 oh 3
  3:27pm John from Florham park:

@Breaking news sorry to hear that
Avatar 3:29pm Lixiviated Life:

The failure of gravity
and a moment of lightness
Furniture rises
clothing billows away from the body
trees shrug the soil from their roots
worms float in mid air.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm steveo:

i feel it!
Avatar 3:32pm Lixiviated Life:

soon the forces begin to falter
weak, nuclear, electromagnetic, strong
all ebb and end.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm brainiac:

If we're waxing poetical, I'll go with:
so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow
Avatar 3:34pm Lixiviated Life:

particles separate
electron fly off in all directions
the universe truly expands
Avatar 3:35pm Lixiviated Life:

I and Thou are one
  3:37pm William Main:

Brainiac: I like the quote from W.C. Williams.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm brainiac:

It's subversive!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm Mr. Pumpy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Mr. Pumpy:

Thanks Handy...sound advice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm Mr. Pumpy:

eluviation of feelings define this existence
caught between inactivity and bloviated persistence
the angle fades...
as the judgment spins
none the victors
not a triumph to notch save for realization
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm brainiac:

I gotta go and take an "inventory of feet." I'll let you know if I go past 2.
Bye all!
Avatar 3:54pm Lixiviated Life:

aren't two enough?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm Handy Haversack:

Bye, brainiac.

Counted his feet to prove the fact and found he had one foot over!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm Mr. Pumpy:

...asked the guy with only two feet
Avatar 3:58pm Lixiviated Life:

more than two and I wonder if we're still dealing with feet?
I would think at that point we've crossed over to paws or hoofs (hooves?).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm steveo:

do millipedes have feet or just legs?
Avatar 4:00pm Lixiviated Life:

I think a millipede has legs
as do tables and chairs
(but I might be wrong)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm Handy Haversack:

Poems have feet but not legs.
  4:05pm spodiodi:

a chair with legs? ok, rockefeller
Avatar 4:05pm Lixiviated Life:

Some golf balls get legs
(depending on their rotation and the break of the green)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm chresti:

Doo oh looge (like rouge)?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14pm chresti:

  4:19pm spodiodi:

ptretty sure my neighbors have hooves
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Ken From Hyde Park:

If you put your arms into leggings, you're just asking for trouble.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm chresti:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:49pm Mr. Pumpy:

I, for reasons not completely clear to me, miss the days of Clay busting in and being beyond irritating towards the end of your show. Bittersweet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm Linda Lee:

Fabio, you remain the only person who can make me sorry i'm no longer in new york. i call it magic..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:53pm Linda Lee:

going to the movies growing up there was *so* nice.
  4:57pm William Main:

I took a quick look at the calendar for Anthology Film Archives Satanic Panic film festival. One notable film they overlooked is Don't Deliver Us From Evil (1971) directed by Joël Séria. (I think you can find it on Youtube.) And what about the eponymous film by Bresson?
Avatar 4:59pm Fredericks:

Tak: which one is Terry Jones?
Avatar 5:00pm Fredericks:

What notes are that guy's stomach playing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm Handy Haversack:
