Good morning BC. I just crawled out of bed to greeted with a sad story on the front page of The Los Angeles Times. The venerable record pressing plant Rainbo records here in L.A. is out of business. Read it and weep.

i actually visited them in the early '90s when they were still in Santa Monica. Not just a pressing plant, they had in-house designers that could create logos for you, they'd shrink wrap your records, everything. Huge operation.

he was in BeBop Deluxe which was a more 70s art rock glam outfit---but his solo stuff gets more New Wave-y/YMO-ish---check out his track Flaming Desire!

Well, MB, you can start with "the Love that Whirls" album. I recall "Flaming Desire' was the single, but I like that track more. But the whole album's solid.
