Listener comments!
From windy Southern France
Hi Colleen!
Ps Richard Selby "Last Exit to Brooklyn" went to PS 61 as did I for kindergarten before OLA..
I worked in Kittle's Butcher (71/3rd from 1973(12yOld) until 1979 = 6 days a week.
Sold coke(powder) in the police bar across the street at night, yet still did my HW.
Bishop Ford:
On LSD me mates and me destroyed the car (Mercedes) of a horrible teacher at Xaverian... They tried to transfer me to B. Ford..I lived across the street 7104 Narrows from Xav so I did not want the commute. The principal - Bro. Kieran took me under his wing.. I had to put up the Flag every morning at 7am on SH Road....
We must know each other by sight???
-Mazzy Star at sunrise is awesome
I know several mobile, non-active listeners that I’ve tried to talk to several mobile non-Accu Glisteners about surf turf and stars but they are only on the road and glistening after it has already come and gone.
By accidentally flipping station haps and STS, you have inadvertently introduced an entirely new cadre of Glisteners to a wonderful feature that you and George work so hard on.
What’s wrong with that?
Nothing!
STS Forever!!!!
bye!
thge eels are slimy too...
And we saw a seal in Newtown Creek last week!
Was wandering in the outskirts of Barcelona last week and came across an amazing collective space: Bloque 11 en Fabrica Can Battlo - amazing history and amazing community activism - got land/old factories scheduled for horrible development... Pas that to Kevlicki and a wee thing in the post heaed to the bklyn space...
I have canoed across Arthur Kill, Clay -- lots of container ships!
I'm making my lunch!
@Colleen morning
@Daybreak morning if your still around
@Handy morning
@LCBD morning
I'm off -- I hate missing the interviews. Will catch up with you fine folx from Manhattan.
it just gave me a window for my Andy Warhol joke....
As I said, there is a connection ...
That’s “Dexter” in the background of the science segment. Great record!!
wearing a face mask
Love your show.TY Clay
PULL !!
I just read something yesterday that said people without any symptoms yet are still contagious. So be careful. Can’t stress washing hands enough. I work in a microbiology lab and even though I wear 900 pair of gloves a day I still wash my hands like crazy or use sanitizer in between.
brilliant Pete!
1974 Bay Ridge was very different back then Lots of dealers More experimental
Where did you hangout ? I remember that flag We sure could all wave our own flags more in this day and age today Do you remember rubber park and 74th and 3rd crew
Thanks Pidge!
www.movingimage.us...
Clapper misses you buddy!
I got to hang out with the Impremta Colectivo folks, see the workshops, have espresso at the collective cafe, meet the cooperative brewery peeps, alas the archive there was closed that day.
Thanks for thinking of us. It was sooo up my alley.
Also I was there at an interesting moment-the separatists had just been sentenced and catalonians were demonstrating everyday!
Oh. Thanks, Wikiepedia.
A guitarist I jam with regularly just fractured his radial head so we were thinking Radialhead might be the name of our “band”!
I went up to the Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, she was great! The venue is small and sound fantastic
[Rated G for all audiences...]
Thanks Clay and all....
til the morrow..
Clay, George, the entire WAB team -- thanks! Another day kicked right in the patootie and sent rocketing into the future!!!
We are much more mellow in Nice
Then Paris. Get up Stand up Act up
When the people lead the “ leaders “ will follow
Thank you Clay & George.
