The terrible band's album was bought by only 1,500 people, but every last one of the started a terrible band.
  3:48pm Dean:

Or was it Digital Underground?
Avatar 3:48pm Irwin:

They were terrible, that band. All drugs and sadomasochism and anti-hippeee noise.
Avatar 3:49pm Irwin:

This Erika Wennerstrom track is somethin' else!
Avatar 4:06pm Irwin:

Four minutes into this Erika W song there's a brief instrumental, then the final two minutes are just sublime. Goosebump city.

  4:55pm Laura L:

Is the whole KD Jr. album as good as that version of Epistrophy? That was super.
Avatar 4:56pm Irwin:

Don't know, LL. I buy one track at a time.
  4:56pm Santos L Halper:

Ahh. Have you had a chance to absorb this box yet Irwin? I haven't taken the leap...

Do you kiss the Upsala College days?
  5:28pm Dean:

Did you just suggest that Emerson joined ELP because they need a guy named Emerson to fill out the band?
Avatar 5:28pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar 5:28pm Irwin:

Upsala is long gone. And so is Emerson.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm brainiac:

We need to hear this once in a while lest anyone try to rehabilitate Gino for the 21st century

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm Fuzzy:

WERS is still on the air.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm G:

@RR63 -- Yes, nice to see you as well, of course, from back in the early/mid 10s. I had a lot of personal-life changes in the mid 10s and wasn't on the boards much (four addresses between 2014 and 2017). Moved from New York to New Orleans, and am settled in here since late 2017. I still listen and follow along here, but only comment now and then if I think I actually have something to say haha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm Fuzzy:

Just kidding -- I know what you meant.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38pm brainiac:

Had to listen back to that Ruthie track -- Sublime!
Avatar 5:40pm Irwin:

Can't believe no one clicky-starred Gino. Devastated.
  5:41pm eedyaat:

yes, the new fix for 76 was one of the best tracks on today's show, if not the best
Avatar 5:41pm Irwin:

Def Top 35, eed.
Avatar 5:42pm mb:

This Cage Doctrine is... deep. My favorite line in regards to loudness: "follow the general outlines of the Christian life.”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Handy Haversack:

That Luger tune was kicking it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm brainiac:

I assumed the Cage Doctrine was, "do not discriminate between intention and non-intention."
That and, "sit down and shut up for 4 minutes and 33 seconds."
  5:50pm Mike tp:

mighty cookin going on...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm Michael 98145:

"I have nothing to say, I am saying it, and that is poetry."
