	12:36am sv: i decided that no one [including me] wanted to hear that for 3 hours straight at this hour, plus i'd done two weekends of specialty shows and wanted to get back to my regular persona
	12:38am greatb: word, i respect that! to keep the development/evolution of the show moving forward
	12:40am sv: something like that ! feels good to get back in my regular mode, tbh
	12:41am greatb: i must say i particularly liked the slowed down show :)
	12:41am sv: i enjoyed that one too! will do another volume of that at some point
	12:41am greatb: sometimes themes emerge organically

	12:49am sv: hey rw! it was gonna be a show of metal in the style of gameboy soundtracks, basically. woulda lost my mind by the end of the first hour, i reckon.

	12:53am rw: There was a DJ out here on KXLU who did a show of video game music. I'm not sure if it's still on but it was more listenable than you might think.

	12:56am sv: yeah, i think if it's not just 8bit the whole time it can be really enjoyable, and i like the way 8 bit stuff sounds. it's just the idea of 3 hours of it that at one point sounded very appealing and challenging before becoming something that sounded rather unpalatable

	1:00am greatb: it's one of those situations where the idea is clearly on the right track, there's another show which might answer the questions it poses
	1:03am sv: just gonna keep on knocking on ideas' doors until the right ones answer and donate to my cause
	1:04am rw: When I was in college we would get a Pong game set so that it kept in stasis (the ball would bounce back and forth in the same pattern without moving the paddles) and use it as a drum track. I don't remember what we overlaid on top, but I do remember making the patterns!
