  1:12am rich:

filibus, the movie playing at anthology beginning thursday, is from 1915 and is having its initial new york run. sounds like fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12am Franco Twinkie:

Rich & Tamar, My reading comprehension is starting to suffer because of the unrelenting racket in this house. Tonight I turned it off. Chresti did something stealth- she lovingly handed be a cup of hot tea, and with her other hand turned the music back on. Before long, the current New Yorker had fallen to the floor, and I was intently listening to The Humphrey Bogart Rhumba. Really, who the hell needs to know about the machinations of Jeff Bezos?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am coelacanth∅:

i'm going to send jeff bozo out to the corn field.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am coelacanth∅:

did it work?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17am coelacanth∅:

maybe i didn't concentrate long enough; plus i think there's a bulb out in my frontal lobe
  1:17am rich:

plus you've got the art auction tonight and morricone youth playing live to night of the living dead friday in monty hall, downtown music gallery hosting a tribute to steve dalachinsky who recently passed, aruan ortiz thursday who i highly recommend, and the gibby haynes/paul green rock academy combination was well liked by scott williams when he saw them earlier this year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:18am Franco Twinkie:

Coel. If you're asking me. I would say yes. The Magazine is still on the floor and I'm in front of the screen listening to Linda Ronstadt.....who I love.
  1:19am rich:

franco i'm happy that the humphrey bogart rhumba brought you back to this little corner of reality where you belong

i see in the never ending battle that dj wife is now adding the dates of the recordings. dj husband approves but will not participate this evening.
  1:26am Tamar:

Thanks, scraps. But of course. Corrected.
Avatar 1:27am Roberto:

Actually, it's "Hazlewood." Counterintuitive, I know.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27am coelacanth∅:

dates aren't for everyone.
i personally like them, especially medjools.
Avatar 1:28am Roberto:

With that spelling, you'd think it'd be pronounced "has-le-wood"
Avatar 1:29am Roberto:

Oh lol, Scraps. Accuplaylist proofreaders unite!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31am coelacanth∅:

anyway i have a date with my bed over there, and a little puff of smoke. (not in that order)
Thanks rich! Thanks Tamar!
good night/morning/other, everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am chresti:

goodnight and puff, coel
  1:35am rich:

good other to you too coel
  1:36am Tamar:

Thank,s Roberto. Computer had auto pop-up incorrect. I love this accu-comment playlist!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36am Franco Twinkie:

Scraps, speaking of The Hells Angeles, this morning when I was going pick up a bucket of olives to cure, in my rear-view mirror, about seven guys on the most awesomly savage sixties style choppers rolled up behind me. These were young cats who really studied bikes. To a man, every one rode a vintage Harley Sportster. No sneakers on this crew, they all wore engineer boots. They restored my faith in young people
Avatar 1:37am Scraps:

Wow, that picture with the bald person in foreground looks like my late beloved wife (who I’m admittedly thinking about intently since she died five years ago today (friday still in Snohomish County, Washington).

Avatar 1:37am Roberto:

Thanks for correcting, Tamar!
Avatar 1:38am Scraps:

Franco, ha!
Avatar 1:41am Roberto:

I had this Banarama on cassette in the early '90s. It was excellent music to paint by.
Avatar 1:42am Roberto:

Oops Ba-na-na-ra-ma
  1:43am rich:

i'm sorry to hear that scraps.

the bald person in the foreground of the photo is thoth, a performer in central park who tamar and i first saw when we started going out. then he went to california for awhile and showed up here again this year i believe. he has a high pitched voice, plays violin, provides percussion by stamping his feet which causes those things around his ankles to rattle. it a fun little show that confuses quite a few people. on the day of the photo there were wedding photos being taken which you make out on the steps in the background.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51am Franco Twinkie:

Watch out, she'll tear of your head!
Avatar 1:52am Scraps:

I remember him! Thank you, rich. The resemblance is mostly a far-away camera, then; at that distance, every bald person looks like they came from the Planet of the Bald People.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55am Franco Twinkie:

Tonight when I was walking to the donut shop, I walked passed a Vietnamese, and I swear every guy in there was bald!
Avatar 1:56am Scraps:

And why not!
Avatar 1:56am Rob Gee:

The Loot riff sounds like Talking Heads' 'Drugs'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59am Franco Twinkie:

I love The Lyres! I walked through the snow to see them play at Maxwells
Avatar 2:02am Scraps:

But we hate it! Hate it, I say!
Avatar 2:03am Scraps:

(Not the Lyres, of course, of course)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03am Franco Twinkie:

Avatar 2:05am Scraps:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35am chresti:
