@LCBD I’m bummed too. I never caught the question in my listening to the archives. I must’ve been away from my desk. It’s the question I suggested too. My favorite teacher was my homeroom teacher, Mrs Thiebault. She recognized my artistic talent and encouraged me to break out of my shell and join the prom decorating group. I met a lot of great new friends and got some much needed confidence and am forever grateful. She and her husband became my friend over the years and I was even a member of their wedding party. A wonderful person.

  8:50am Motobro:

Deborah; a true FMU Legend, you were on when I first started to listen. My oldest memories is of Bud Stilple talking about sitting around a keg with a bunch nch of 14 yo girls. Being about 12 yo myself I was quit jealous...

Also today in music history, in 1983, KISS appeared on MTV without their makeup... (crickets)

It wasn't until yeeeeaaars later that I was watching the History channel and realized Quint's story was based on real events.
  8:53am deborah:

@ Motobro I was mesmerized by Vin Scelsa, Dave Selvin, The Duck, others of that time. When I started, I felt so out of place but fit in alarmingly quickly. I could reminisce but I will stop it to say if someone has the 12 days of Christmas tape or some of our "weather reports," they are truly vintage!
Peace out, everyone; as some of my current students might say.
Avatar 8:53am BnowB:
