Cream O ' Coyl...grand old Irish name, yes?
  3:02pm David in London:

Evening Creamo. And greetings to Blastards everywhere.
  3:06pm John from Florham park:

Hello fellow spin age blasters did anyone watch the apple event from Cupertino today
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm TomDash:

  3:08pm David in London:

Funnily enough, it’s making me not see things that are there...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm ultradamno:

If I had thought ahead I would have made bloody marys and super rare steaks to pair with the Bloody Show.
  3:09pm David in London:

Hey John. Was the event noteworthy?
Avatar 3:15pm Chris from DC:

  3:16pm John from Florham park:

Yes new phones and new watches David
  3:16pm tmtealium:

This show is better than Chick Fill A.
Avatar 3:16pm Creamo Coyl:

Did they unveil the Von LMO app?
  3:20pm David in London:

As you can see John, I really have my finger on the technological pulse...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm tim from champaign:

This is my first time hearing Von LMO. Very cool.
Avatar 3:22pm Creamo Coyl:

Advance yourself!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm steveo:

I am wearing my rope tunic in honor of Cupertino.
Avatar 3:24pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

HOLY CRAP. missed the Von LMO -- haven't spun that CD in ages. Classico.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm TomDash:

Brain sufficiently cleared out. Ready for a re-fill...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm tim from champaign:

I agree! Intervene away.
Avatar 3:29pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Scored that Von LMO disc in '97 while living in Tucson -- worked a block from legendary Toxic Ranch rekkids (RIP). Much of my minimum-wage earnings disappeared in there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm tim from champaign:

I've been aware of Von LMO since the mid 90s but somehow had never heard it. My life keeps getting more complete.
  3:30pm John from Florham park:

@David I prefer my dumb watch I am not dick Tracy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm WFMU listener WADE:

Girl Band is good stuff. Now I know.
  3:34pm David in London:

Me too John. I have a pocket watch from the Victorian era, so I’m about as far away from the smart watch demographic as it’s possible to be.
Avatar 3:35pm Creamo Coyl:

I have the Pocketwatch app.

The monocle is extra, but worth it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm sphere:

  3:35pm John from Florham park:

@David never got into pocket watches
  3:38pm John from Florham park:

@creamo will check that out:)
  3:38pm tmtealium:

Let me say something about bandcamp. They are beginning to get ridiculous. Once upon a time they were reasonable with prices. But now they are charging the same amount for some stuff as psychical product. I even saw a download for over $1000 last week.
  3:40pm John from Florham park:

@timrealium ouch with band camp
  3:40pm David in London:

I hope you are wearing your monocle now Creamo. Standards have to be adhered to after all...
  3:41pm tmtealium:

I bet the album was crap
Avatar 3:41pm Creamo Coyl:

All artists on bandcamp set there own prices.

The $1000 is cheeky and also so people won't donwload it, and maybe buy the product. It's a joke with a purpose.
But the artists set the prices, bandcamp doesn't have anything to do with that.
  3:42pm tmtealium:

I don't want to buy CDs anymore. FLAC is just fine.
  3:42pm tmtealium:

but i hear you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm sphere:

@ tmtealium - i've noticed that Bandcamp digital releases have been crawling up a buck or two (from 7 currency units to 8-10 units) but still pretty reasonable i think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm sphere:

oh. and hello.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm ultradamno:

I'd like to request You Walrus Hurt The One You Love for the departing National Security Advisor.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm ultradamno:

"An Episode" I guess it's called. diymag.com...
  3:56pm tmtealium:

sphere: 10-4. I think 8.99 is the fair price for a normal bandcamp album. Give or take a dollar.
Avatar 3:57pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

OMG happy to be hears.
  3:58pm tmtealium:

I remember paying radiohead $5 for In Rainbows
Avatar 3:59pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar 4:01pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Loves the Bloody Muse.
Avatar 4:01pm Marshall Stacks:

Yes, it was obviously time for a Bongwater track, and this is one of their best. Thanks, CC!
  4:01pm tmtealium:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm queems:

a moody blues cover? on my wfmu?
Avatar 4:01pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

This and Butthole Surfers doing Good King Wenceslas = forever the ultimate one-two punch of covers-ing.
Avatar 4:03pm Chris from DC:

Holy crap, this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm sphere:

Bongwater also does a great job on the Elevators' "You Don't Love Me Yet."
  4:04pm John from Florham park:

Ok Gus if anyone is interested I have a band amp account jp07928
Avatar 4:05pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Great overall ! :
  4:05pm John from Florham park:

@queems kinda blew my mind too
Avatar 4:05pm Marshall Stacks:

Not to mention The Monkees' Porpoise Song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:06pm ultradamno:

Roky, not Elevators, but the Screamin' Jay intro on Night Music was sublime.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm sphere:

thanks, ultradamno.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm WFMU listener WADE:

Life is a Rock but the Radio Rolled Me = Girls
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:09pm ultradamno:

They're making a list and checking it twice.
Avatar 4:09pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10pm ultradamno:

Did Dickless get snubbed in that track?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm sphere:

Every time I think of Night Music, I think of that Sonny Rollins solo from that Cohen song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm ultradamno:

Avatar 4:15pm Fox:

Thanks for the rad tunes, dude. I haven't said hello in a while. Hi!

  4:45pm Aggravation OD:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm ultradamno:

Ever see the movie The Oh in Ohio? There's a scene where Parker Posey and Danny DeVito are on a really high cliff looking down on Terminal Tower. Is that geographically accurate?
Avatar 4:53pm Creamo Coyl:

Absolutely not.

And I served (as a waiter) Ms. Posey while she was making that movie. Then I drank a bottle of wine with her and her friends.
Avatar 4:53pm Creamo Coyl:

Never seen the flick!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:56pm tim from champaign:

hahahaha - Doc Dart is totally Jerry Lewis!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm tim from champaign:

Wow, cool! I know Bowser the guitarist and singer Kenny. Those dudes are a little older than me so I only got to see the Violent Apathy reunion/re-enactment about 10 years ago.

Digging this 80s set...
Avatar 5:53pm häh?:

my first comment was posted incomplete. weird, I guess the dumb emojis caused that. what I said there was the amount of finnish stuff played tonight is higher than usual, no complaints there. as I am a Finn myself, should check out Musta. I am not a huge fan of Hefty Load even if the late great Jyri Honkavaara (of Ratsia fame) was a member. Did not sing on that track at least.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:54pm sphere:

thanks Creamo. see you next week
Avatar 5:55pm Creamo Coyl:

Most of the Hefty Load stuff doesn't do it for me but that song is incredible. Glad you dig!
