Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:57pm

It did not have the impact upon me now that it did seeing it on a large screen at age 6, the music was at times old Hollywood cheese, but the tonal code communication was still moving, as was the final chief alien to emerge from the spaceship and give the hand signals.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm
coelacanth∅:

ohhh yeaaahhhh. mashed potatoes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm

At one point the spaceship responds with a more elaborate tone sequence that just sounds like a tuba riffing, which didn't hold up.

In 1942, George Patton (before he was General) let troops to attack World War I veterans who gathered in Washington, D.C. asking for advance money on their military pensions (as I understand it) during the Great Depression. Bayonets and tear gas in the U.S. capitol used to attack other U.S. soldiers. en.wikipedia.org...

I was in the kitchen making a peanut butter sandwich and Chresti said "Are we having another one?" The coffee was sloshing back and forth in the Chemex maker. Now people are lighting more fireworks outside.
