Once again, an hour of radio ghosts recaptured: once in a lifetime occurances and remembrances (some from WFMU's own archives). This is no mere nostalgia trip; Aircheck seeks out some of the more unusual and unpredictable moments and personalities in radio that probably wouldn't get attention anywhere else.

August 21, 2003: Huey Meaux. Best known as a record producer, Huey "The Crazy Cajun" Meaux lit-up late night radio. Broadcasting out of Pacifica's KPFT in Houston back in the 70s, Meaux mixed in raunchy rock and roll with drunken call-ins and prison dedications.
