Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Otis Fodder:

Same here for the Fagen seven. +side of having guests on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Otis Fodder:

Today is a really smooth show. Rainy day here in Montreal, fitting well. Lots of sax.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Otis Fodder:

With some not-so-smooth cuts of course... but a different mix/show, always turns out that way with guests and I always say, play whatever, bring whatever and I am surprised.
  3:17pm Martinibomb:

It's super nice here. Suppose to be 90. We hit an all time high yesterday. This smooth stuff fits hot summer like days tho too I think
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Otis Fodder:

It does. Post-BBQ, drink in the shade, with Herbie right here.
  3:24pm Martinibomb:

I'm also trying to pull some disco ish records for a show at freeform I gotta do tonight
  3:28pm Martinibomb:

Wow Meat beat manifesto put out a new record today
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm chresti:

Hello Otis and persuaders!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm Otis Fodder:

@MB - Cool! I've seen Jack Dangers doing a lot with Electronic Sound magazine - articles + a record of Riley's IN C.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm chresti:

I like Meat Beat manifesto
  3:31pm Martinibomb:

  3:32pm Martinibomb:

  3:34pm Martinibomb:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm Webhamster Henry:

There was a showing of Phantom of the Paradise in Kingston a few months ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm Otis Fodder:

I caught a showing at a bar here in Montreal where they did an inspired night with DJs. So much fun. Been to a couple Phantom showings over the years. No props like Rocky though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:13pm Mr Fab:

the Mali In C played with African musicians that came out a few years ago is really good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14pm Rich in Washington:

Hiya Otis and co. I've been listening to the whole shebang on my headphones while out walking/running/mowing lawn, etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14pm Rich in Washington:

There is indeed a bowling ball and accessory company called Brunswick.
  4:19pm Martinibomb:

I think you play Roubaix more than any other artist. What do you wanna bet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21pm Otis Fodder:

@MB - Huge listener of Roubaix. Checked the playlists and only the 2nd time on the show. Will be more, oh yes. Roubaix and Vannier with Magne and Legrand sprinked with Lai.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm Otis Fodder:

@MB - This Is The Modern World with Trouble ... wins with Roubaix! Nice!
  4:24pm Martinibomb:

really only twice? Man I feel like I hear Roubaix from you all the time lol hahah
  4:24pm Martinibomb:

guess I lost that bet. hah! now you know why i never gamble
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm Otis Fodder:

That sound, I listen to a lot while working (soundtrack/library) around the pad. Maybe you had an OBE and were floatin' about diggin' in the record shelves here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Otis Fodder:

Now I wanna play the most Roubaix. I say mobaix 4 roubaix!
  4:27pm Martinibomb:

I think maybe you post youtube vids to him more than other artist.. i don't know I just have this impression that you play him all the time. not that that's a bad thing lhahahahh
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm Otis Fodder:

Ha, I don't think I have ever posted a YT vid of him... but I should in the SJR FB group. Something from L'homme Orchestre
  4:32pm Martinibomb:

oh man.. just ate lunch and getting that super sleepy thing. Maybe time for a nap. Perfect soundtrack for it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm Otis Fodder:

I've been doing an hour nap after supper lately. It's a smooth ride.
  4:38pm Martinibomb:

Avatar 5:44pm Don-O:

I'm aiming for a nap after Rich's show. It has been an unusual day....and the weirdness will carry on over into tomorrow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm Otis Fodder:

Hey Don-O! Smooth show today, nap time.
Avatar 5:49pm Don-O:

I'm afraid if I napped now I'd hit my head on the computer desk.
Avatar 5:53pm Don-O:

Alright, after all of this smooth stuff, it's time for the prune juice of The Hour O' Crap: www.wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55pm Rich in Washington:
