Avatar 12:06pm V Priceless:

hiya Pseu!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm Booz:

Hello Hookers. Apropos of nothing, the Doug Gillard is one of the best show intros ever on WFMU (objectively speaking)
  12:07pm John from Florham Park:

Hello fellow hookers
Avatar 12:11pm Lixiviated Life:

Preparing to "get hooky wit it"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Carmichael:

Heya Pseu and The Hooked. Your page looks so soft, coming out of Warwick's monstrosity of colors.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Krys O.:

Good afternoon, Pseu et les Hookers!
Avatar 12:13pm aaronfromMI:

girlpool seems to be popular on the freeform airways of the country lately.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm Krys O.:

Delightful! I love Brie. This is sweet.
Avatar 12:14pm aaronfromMI:

has anyone watched "the unicorn store" ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:17pm Krys O.:

I started to watch Unicorn Store, but it was late. Must choose an earlier time of day to watch the whole thing.
Avatar 12:17pm Lixiviated Life:

Wait... What?
If nobody's watching the unicorn store, there's sure to be a unicorn stampede!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Parq:

"Unicorn Stampede" would be a good name for a band. I'm just saying.
Avatar 12:18pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Okay I finally figured out who they are covering. Wow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm Krys O.:

Pseu!!!! You work so hard to provide the best for us. Thanks immensely.
Avatar 12:20pm βrian:

The Great Unicorn Weenie Remix is on.
Avatar 12:21pm aaronfromMI:

wow, great cover! The Unicorn Store was silly and mostly lighthearted. which is nice sometimes. I enjoyed it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22pm Goyim in the AM:

Huey Lewis & the News are kinda like Asia in that the members pre-band resumes would have you expecting a hell of a lot more interesting stuff -- so I suppose it makes sense that that song works in a non-cheesy non-ironic way in the right setting.
Avatar 12:22pm Lixiviated Life:

"Unicorn Stampede" would likely consist of 1 horn
(ok, and maybe a tambourine)
  12:23pm KP in DC:

Helloooo, Pseu
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Enjoy that show before Amazon steps in and puts them out of business. Two day shipping!
Avatar 12:25pm drewo:

Waiting for the Alison Brie Larson collaboration.
Avatar 12:29pm aaronfromMI:

Unicorn prime!
  12:29pm queems:

i’m really enjoying this set!!
  12:32pm Mr. Palchepo.:

How are we pronouncing Aldous? All-duss or Al-duss?
Avatar 12:34pm Spunky Monkey:

Pseu... How about some Fotomaker...
Avatar 12:35pm Listening Out There:

This all sounds pretty okay...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm Hughie Considine:

@Spunky, where have you been all my life?
  12:35pm Morphe':

NiceSetSue!!! sounds like bad Dick Tracy joke, but just true NICeSEtSUe!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Krys O.:

Gotta go with full fat for yogurt and no added sugar.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm Hughie Considine:

When I see Fage yogurt, even though I know how it's pronounced, my brain sees FAJE.
  12:39pm Andrea in Jersey City:

So good to be listening to the master, Pseu.
  12:39pm Morphe':

Full fat is bes" because your body breaks down the real particles as
compared to processed weight/volume which sits around in the body taking up space/weight!!!!!!
Avatar 12:41pm Listening Out There:

Fie Narts. Today's show is pretty darn hi-brow...
Avatar 12:44pm holland oats:

  12:48pm Morphe':

Listening Out There : hih-low-uni brows allcome with baggage - you made me think of Angela Carter's short story "Wolf Alice" You do not have to worry about wolves who wear their fur on the outside..You MUST BEWARE of wolves who where their fur on the inside!!!!"""
Avatar 12:48pm northguineahills:

hall oooos!!
Avatar 12:49pm Roberto:

Roger's mispronouncing "strom"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm Hughie Considine:

Wowza, haven't heard this since MTV played videos. I think this is where Roger is running in a loin cloth along a highway. Maybe it's the acid talking.
  12:50pm prudy:

wow Pseu, thought I heard the likes of Supertramp
  12:51pm prudy:

Roger was obviously raised in the church of England.
  12:52pm Rick A.:

I will add my voice to the wonderment of hearing this song for the first time in over thirty years. I never thought I would hear it on WFMU. Still, for all of the sturm und drang of it, it's irresistibly melodic. Dig this solo bridge too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm Hughie Considine:

Great story quoted in the 33 1/3 book on Big Star's "Radio City." Alex Chilton and his bandmates repair to a bar after a concert, and Alex is sitting on his own drinking a beer and "The Logical Song" comes on the jukebox. And Alex starts singing along, drumming along, totally passionately and unironically. I love that story.
  12:55pm Rick A.:

Now we need to hear Tommy Shaw's "Girls with Guns" to complete the contemporaneous solo project of a renegade from a prog rock band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm Krys O.:

Here is that memorable video of semi-nude Hodgson: youtu.be...
Avatar 1:00pm Roberto:

I'll take your word for it, Krys.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Hughie Considine:

Still as frightening as I remember it. Thanks @Krys O!
  1:04pm John from Florham Park:

Nice song by him krys o
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm Krys O.:

It's the same song Pseu played.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06pm Krys O.:

Fun Fact: The original version of RSM's Too Old (To Fall In Love) was from 1978 when he was 26 yo.
  1:18pm John from Florham Park:

@Keys o I know, have not heard it in. A while either
  1:18pm KP in DC:

Wand is magic!
  1:25pm listener monica:

hi pseu! loving this! howie and i are working together and listening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Dominick:

  1:37pm Mike tp:

the Sonny song has just enough Hook to hang my shirt on!!!!!!
  1:40pm prudy:

i rather liked them!
Avatar 1:45pm holland oats:

there are still tix available for unholy three!
  1:48pm LiXiviated Life:

Pseu's Peek a boo show.
Totally transparent
  1:50pm LiXiviated Life:

Although the other way is a very different connotation
  1:53pm SeanG:

Hi Pseu! great show
  2:00pm prudy:

gottq be my favorite Stranglers song
Avatar 2:00pm herb.nyc:

Hi all, Pseu mentioned complete transparency. In a Peanuts, Linus is upset bec Lucy said she could see through him. "I have a glass head" he sighs. Awww / Steven V Zandt was just on wnyc, and he spoke of his music history public school project. Yes, Pseu and other wfmu djs have a paying gig! Take that, Andy Breckman!
Avatar 2:00pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Had to leave for a meeting and came back to Golden Brown. Love it.
Avatar 2:02pm V Priceless:

thanx for those zany Stranglers, Pseu!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Good afternoon, Bleu Pseu Creu!
  2:29pm Zido:

Hell-o PSEU'S Thang with a hook.this is my first time on comments, not just this show but any from FMU. That's right "Ass spanking new". Well any who's just checking in to say Hey.a big bail of it !.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm Krys O.:

Avatar 2:31pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Pseu, you are knocking the covers out of the park.
Avatar 2:32pm Pseu Braun:

Hey Zido! Welcome and thanks - and of course all of youse today!
Avatar 2:32pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Oh, I meant to comment that I did finally see the movie The Dirt. Watched the whole thing and really wanted to like it. Left me feeling, though, that is was just a porno with too much dialogue.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm Hughie Considine:

So many VU covers are earnest and respectful, but this is a real reimagining.
  2:37pm Zido:

If I remember right you once had a couple of cats one by the name of Mr Janks that had some kind of spazoid episode
Avatar 2:38pm Pseu Braun:

Mister Chang. Yes, he's now a spastic old man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm Hughie Considine:

Sloan!! And a deep cut from a record not universally revered by Sloan fanatics, including me. That is truly the magic of this show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Howdy all. Yer surpassing yourself, young lady! And thanks for the extra data( sorry about the extra agita.)
  2:43pm b wad:

You guys, tell me
Not the only one who thinks she sounds like Aimee Mann
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm Hughie Considine:

@b wad: hush hush/keep it down now/this is scary
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:47pm Krys O.:

I think Natalie has a touch of very early Jennifer Warnes.
Avatar 2:47pm Pseu Braun:

I think she has a much more magnificent singing *flow* than Aimee Mann. No comparison except both are alto range mostly. Aimee's not as good out of her register.
  2:48pm Zido:

Tell the story again about when you were a child and how you used to go through your neighbor's cup boards and drawers if that was you?.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm Krys O.:

Pitch transposed Judy Collins, perhaps.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49pm Hughie Considine:

Ashes to ashes...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

I'm favoriting that Grass Rots.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49pm Krys O.:

BTW-Creed Bratton was hubba hubba when he was in the Grass Roots. :)
2:50pm Daybreak, and the unexpected intestinal attack!:

Listening with 2 ears!
  2:50pm prudy:

don't care for WB or AM.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

And thanks so much for the Blondie and Phil Seymour, Pseu!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm G:

@Daybreak: "Best practices."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Hughie Considine:

For listeners born with a single ear, that was an insensitive remark.
  2:53pm prudy:

Hughie, recently went deaf in left ear. Does that count?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Hughie Considine:

I really wanted to hear Pseu read the full title of the Fiona Apple LP.
  2:54pm rw:

I'll take a grilled cheese, golden browned with a texture like sun please. Thanks!
2:54pm Daybreak, and the unexpected intestinal attack!:

Could you read the full Fiona Apple Album Title please?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm Hughie Considine:

You're good, @prudy. I said, YOU'RE GOOD, @PRUDY!
  2:55pm prudy:

yep, getting consult for cochlear implant next week. Getting old is shit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm Hughie Considine:

Sorry, thought you were goofing. Yes, it most assuredly does.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm Krys O.:

Good luck, prudy.
  2:58pm prudy:

WISH i was joking. Went deaf overnight. Yes, overnight.
  2:58pm prudy:

thanks KO
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Carmichael:

Preaching to the choir, Prudy. I'm old as the hills, and twice as dusty.
  2:59pm rw:

prudy, sorry. ugh. good luck with the implant!
  2:59pm rw:

Thanks Pseu!!! Fantabulous.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00pm Carmichael:
