Whose brotherhood is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.

I watch him frown. I cry hello.

He gives his brotherhood a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

I must say I have a new appreciation for Lee Hazelwood. Since until recently I think I heard only one of his tunes.

Mr. R.L. Horrorshow:

Lee Hazelwood is a very underrated songwriter. His lyrics are deceptively simple but hit home in a visceral way and the music and arrangements behind them are pretty sophisticated.

Mr. R.L. Horrorshow:

Lee Hazelwood did not even want to work with Nancy Sinatra. Her dad walked into the studio with her and basically said "You kids have fun!" and walked out. The rest is history. But Lee was not was not happy when they shoved Nancy on him. If Frank did not take no for an answer...

Just got back from a gig playing with a bass player who played with Kevin Ayers. She didn't have much good to say about him.

Clearly she did not sleep with him... maybe he was not interested!
