	♥ 9:55pm coelacanth∅: i liked the song "it's my Life" when it hit the clubs; then EmtyV started playing the video and it's a great one. i bought the album and it's excellent...for 80s music! i bought the follow up and lost interest but that was probably me -losing interest in cheap-sounding, predictable synthpop. they were very much better than most. rest in peace, Mr. Hollis.

I've been playing upright bass for some time now, and I remember getting hipped to Talk Talk/Mark Hollis a while back by a good friend/fellow musician of mine. Their music definitely has this avant/through composed bent to it that spoke to us and the kind of improvised/through composed stuff we were doing.
