J'aime bien le dialogue français. Ça me soulage.

Toad-in-the-hole is a dish where one heats/toasts bread in a griddle while an egg cooks in a cavity carved out in the middle.

When done properly, it's a beautiful dish.

Not sure if it's a Midwest and/or Texan thing, but I found it at brunch places years back, and made it my own (I love pumpernickel bread!).

My habibti recently made TITH with freshly made sourdough kamut bread. It was so lovely: the bread developed a nice thin caramelized crust, and the egg had the white fully cooked while the yolk remained somewhat molten.

The 5-year old gobbled it up!

I mean, there are few rock-star chefs who cold even touch that.

Gravity on the surface of the earth is not exactly correlated to the altitude above the earth's surface, some areas have higher gravity then others due to the density of the core/mantle then others, albeit it's exceptionally minor.
