  12:08pm Listener Gregory:

I thought I knew Mark Murphy, but I've never heard this.
  12:12pm Listener Gregory:

I see the disc is available from Amazon starting at $268.17. It must be really good! But that .17 is a bit much.
Avatar 12:15pm Duane:

LG: Just buy the vinyl:) www.discogs.com...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm rbx:

@northguineahills just saw you in a fb post from a show you played with Ironing a while back, haha.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm rbx:

also hello Duane and train fam!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm tim from champaign:

Is this a Bohannon remake or just in the spirit of?
Avatar 12:36pm Duane:

tfc: Nope! Just a tribute jacker so to speak!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm tim from champaign:

Thanks Duane! Bohannon jacking is A-OK in my book.
  12:46pm Geoff in Ottawa:

Good Wednesday afternoon.
  12:48pm steveL:

Synthesizer smugglers! Awesome.
Avatar 12:48pm northguineahills:

@rbx;Ha! yeah, that was a lot of fun, I'm good friends w/ him!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm rbx:

nice! I don't know him super well, but he booked my old band once or twice. Plus, I feel like basically anyone in the Florida experimental scene for a while is bound to come across Andrew.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm rbx:

@ngh ^
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm rbx:

  2:03pm JimmyBeats:

Great show today!
Avatar 2:06pm Duane:

THanks Jimmy!
Avatar 2:07pm Jshatan:

Is Charles Wright the most underrated funkateer? Most people only know one song - he has at least a dozen classics!
  2:07pm Mr C:

Whoa..haven't heard this CW in a loooong time..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm YETI BOB:

Can somebody explain what the 90-day cycle is about? I am afraid I didn't listen to the words closely enough
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm YETI BOB:

(and thanks Duane for another great show)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm YETI BOB:

hmmm ..... just found this: "90 Day Cycle People" has a somewhat complex message for an R&B burner. Wright sings about a race of superhumans who live out a life in just ninety days, with no time for fussing and fighting in between. A utopia is built in place of war and racism."
Avatar 2:12pm Jshatan:

I vaguely remember something from the liner notes about 90-day-cycle people living life to the fullest because they knew their lives were limited. He was a visionary!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm YETI BOB:

really interesting!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm Passaic River Blues:

@Jshatan: agreed 100%. Like most people, I only really knew Eazy-E's dad for "Express Yourself" but over the years I've learned the man put out fire records for like five years straight. Case in point, Duane plays "High as Apple Pie" fairly regularly and it's just so good. On the same record as "Express Yourself" but was completely new to me.
  2:26pm Peter Wyatt:

Fun show! First time funk listener today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm Mark Hurst:

Well put, about Facebook.
Avatar 2:34pm Harry Skyr:

that's smooth
Avatar 2:34pm Jshatan:

Memo to Harrison: Your Twitter link on BandCamp is out of date - but I found you at @prodbyHarrison!

Avatar 2:45pm Joel St. Germain:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm chris:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Passaic River Blues:

Oh, now I'm floating. Thank you, Duane!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm Michael 98145:
