Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Hey Uncle M, hey all
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:49pm Uncle Michael:

Hey Danny! Congratulations!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm Lane Gray:

I think there's something inherent in a I-ii-V chord progression (for those not used to numbers, in G that'd be G-Am-D) that lends itself to earworminess. It's the same progression as Seasons In The Sun or the Bocephus-penned "Blues Man."
  12:52pm rw:

UM, And congratulations to you on your anniversary! Sorry the weather's so dang miserable. You'll make it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Lane Gray:

Merle did Blues Man much better than did Randall (I've never been much moved by anything that Hank Jr did).
And happy Anniversary
Avatar 12:55pm Little Danny:

Yes, Danny:
  1:02pm rw:

Lane G. I can only play the most rudimentary of guitar but just tried out that G-Am-D. You're right! I could play that one all day long.

Avatar 1:02pm Little Danny:

Avatar 1:05pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Clicky stars aren't totally nationalist but do require a minimum of one 'murica-like character somewhere in the title.
Avatar 1:06pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Avatar 1:27pm βrian:

@NGH: Shit-gibbon says that incites criminal behavior.
Avatar 1:28pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Clicky star fun fact: If you favorite a song, and then the DJ edits the text (artist/track/album), your favorite is moved over to the new spelling. And if the new spelling matches an already-existing artist/track/album, your favorite is merged into that existing one.

Related fact: Sometimes, you favorite a song, and then a little while later you notice the star unfilling itself. Fear not! It will fill itself back in on its own momentarily. It's just a temporary artifact of the DJ having renamed the track.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Uncle Michael:
