By the way, the 12 inch 45 RPM is my favorite single format, by a lot. It may be because a friend gave me his older sister's 12 inch collection back in middle school--Cure, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, just a goldmine.

FYI, the Archive of Contemptible Music has its biannual sale NOW (for another 2wks?), in tribeca. my friend wrote this: I got an X 12" ("Wild Thing") and Camera Obscura 7" ("The Sweetest Thing") with a Springsteen cover on the B-side for $6 total. I'm always glad to go.

Oh, yes, "Bela Lugosi's Dead" is quite the charmer, too. I never got deep into Bauhaus, saw them live once at the Roxy in Hollywood, but I really love those two EPs.

I once through a rave at an abandoned railroad depot the the town was trying to rehabilitate (that is now a park), and in one room I found hundreds of T.K. Disco and Casablanca records. I took quite a bit w/ me.
