Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm gloomsday:

Avatar 7:32pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Welcome gloomsday!
Avatar 7:44pm northguineahills:

wandelweiser is always nice for a wise change (if my rudimentary Deutsche holds up.)
Avatar 7:51pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Hey northguineahills! Yeah, they just did a bunch of reissues including Transparent City vol 1 & 2 as a set
Avatar 8:05pm northguineahills:

So far, I'm only have been previously familiar w/ Michael Pisaro and Graham Lambkin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm gloomsday:

really dug that rhucle track
Avatar 8:12pm northguineahills:

I got this Rhythm & Sound when it first came out. It's a classic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17pm melinda:

I can't get enough meditative music.
Avatar 8:17pm northguineahills:

as is this Pulse Emitter (Jesse has gone mainstream, I either own own or recognize almost half of the artists so far).
Avatar 8:20pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Oh dear, playing the hits!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm melinda:

mainstream, haha
Avatar 8:27pm northguineahills:

@melinda: well, my mainstream..... ;)
Avatar 8:29pm Jesse Kaminsky:

It's an honor
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm Uncle Michael:

hello neighbors
Avatar 8:34pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Hi Uncle Michael!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm Uncle Michael:

I'm blissfully ignorant. I've never heard of a single one of these artists.
Avatar 8:41pm Jesse Kaminsky:

time to turn your subs on follks
Avatar 8:44pm northguineahills:

Sorry, wearing earbuds at work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm gloomsday:

wish i had a decent sound system for this!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51pm melinda:

UM same here
Avatar 8:53pm northguineahills:

I haven't even hooked my normal hi-fi system (just decent five inch speakers). The missus wants me to get newer smaller speakers w/ an added sub to replace my cabinet speakers I've had since I was an undergrad. She might be on to something. (they're still in my closet w/ the rest of my soundsystem).
Avatar 8:56pm βrian:

I glanced over the swag list earlier today. Uncle Michael seems to have made quite the splash. I'll be forgoing swag this year, but I tip my hat to UM.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm Uncle Michael:

A splash, Brian?
Avatar 9:01pm βrian:

@UM: Yep. An exclamatory splash, if I remember.
Avatar 9:02pm northguineahills:

Cool, that was new Jeff Mills!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:02pm Uncle Michael:

Ah yes. Thank you. Greg Harrison made amazing cover art for me.
Avatar 9:02pm Little Danny:

Hi Jesse! Hi all!
Avatar 9:03pm βrian:

@UM: BTW, are you down in your sod-roofed bunker wearing an ochcre suit??
Avatar 9:07pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Hi βrian! Hi Little Danny!
Avatar 9:07pm βrian:

Sorry, "ochre."
Avatar 9:09pm northguineahills:

Yes, new Susie Ibarra! I have heard her do anything new in almost 15 years. She rules!
Avatar 9:13pm Jesse Kaminsky:

the drummer finally gets some
Avatar 9:28pm northguineahills:

RIP Johann Johannsson (found some of his work in Reykjavik a few years back. )
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29pm coelacanth∅:

ngh @8.53 there's something to that, small speakers with a big sound for a reasonable price. good for someone like myself who does not own a house...i only offer that wisdom to others though -not myself, who's planning to replace the passive radiators in my hardwood cabinets - now that i know firsthand the bass deficiencies of a denon a/v amplifier. (which i did expect when i bought it)
...at least no one will take them if my house gets robbed.
Avatar 9:38pm northguineahills:

@coel: Yeah, I'm leaning in that direction, as my old cabinet speakers are bulky and take up much space. But, I'm still saving up for real furniture first (The missus admonished me on my cheap thrift store furniture and picked out what I need when I visited, and made a CAD drawing of my house to show me how everything should look. Then she bought me a bed) Yes, my house looks like it's inhabited by a 20-year old bachelor, even though I'm twice that age (I'm never home anyways).
Avatar 9:48pm northguineahills:

Good to see Tresor is still kicking it! (Why am I still at work).?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm coelacanth∅:

haha i imagine if i had a wife (& children?) my dwelling wouldn't look all that different. i like antiques and don't want to see ugly furniture; but i also like funny or interesting adornments...and lots & lots of string lights. (not for novelty but for hot spot-less light)
Avatar 9:59pm northguineahills:

Thanks Jesse

@coel: well, I went fully broke almost two years ago, and I don't like accepting money from anyone, including my wife.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm coelacanth∅:

Thanks Jesse
Avatar 10:00pm Jesse Kaminsky:

Thanks everyone, night!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm gloomsday:

thanks jesse!
