Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm Webhamster Henry:

Can someone come up with $30 or euros to pay the subway fare?
Avatar 4:07pm Sem Chumbo:

This one translates as "Time is getting screwed."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:09pm David D:

Thanks Henry - great suggestion!

You scared me, βrian!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm doctorjazz:

Hi all! Talk about horror, I hear there was a new "live shooter" in lower Manhattan a few minutes ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm David D:

That is true horror - stay safe everyone!
Avatar 4:16pm βrian:

Yes, I like the faux horror much, much better.
Avatar 4:19pm northguineahills:

And I thought having to take a sick day on Halloween was bad enough, yikes. I love that bike path.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm Webhamster Henry:

Active Truck Driver: At least six people were killed and 15 were injured when a truck driver deliberately mowed down people in lower Manhattan Tuesday afternoon, officials tell News 4 New York.

then he got out with some firearms.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm doctorjazz:

Originally I heard the report of a shooting from a van, but now it seems it was mostly a van mowing down folks, but some gun shots seem to have been heard as well. It's still being sorted out (someone in my office has a husband in the Fire Dept active shooter's squad.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:36pm doctorjazz:

Cool set, getting back to faux horror.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm David D:

Thanks, Doc - holding things together here in Studio 1.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:56pm doctorjazz:

These jazz tracks are GREAT (know Gary Lucas, the others not familiar, fun stuff)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm David D:

Yes, Gary Lucas has worked together with so many people, including Gallo & the Roosters here.
Avatar 5:02pm northguineahills:

Home Depot rental pickup mowing down pedestrians from Houston to Chambers right at the Stuyvesant HS pedestrian bridge.
Avatar 5:13pm northguineahills:

I thought we might be hearing Bauhaus!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:13pm David D:

Had to get to it eventually!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm Dave in Vermont:

Why can't skeletons have babies?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm Dave in Vermont:

Because they have hollow weenies.
Avatar 5:22pm northguineahills:

Magic Fly is a fun album!
Avatar 5:25pm northguineahills:

Gotta go, might be back before the end of the show.
Avatar 5:26pm northguineahills:

Ed Wood films work for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm David D:

Hey-o Dave!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm David D:

Thanks for being there, NGH, see you later!
  6:09pm Stãnley on the road:

Boa noite de Lisboa amigos.
Happy to tune in while on holiday. (I have to say I do love Europe)
Avatar 6:09pm northguineahills:

Back for a bit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm David D:

Welcome Stãnley - Lisbon sounds great. Here's to Europe!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm David D:

And welcome back NGH!
  6:38pm Stãnley on the road:

So, while back home the trick or treating kids get up to hyperactive mischief (guiseing as it's known in Scotland), here in Lisbon we've just had a candle lit procession pass our window, complete with statues held aloft and mournful singing as they head for the night long vigil before All Souls Day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm David D:

Sounds preferable to me, I guess. A few kids out here doing the newly imported Halloween thing that they saw in films. Otherwise a day off for Reformation Day for everyone...
  6:45pm Stãnley on the road:

I love the idea of the reformed church doing its thing where you are, David, whilst the Catholics get on with their business, here. It's all a load of nonsense but still important to many folks, all over.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm David D:

True, and today is the 500th anniversary of Luther's 95 Theses so even the Catholic regions of Germany had a day off today, which is not usually the case.
Avatar 6:59pm northguineahills:

Thanks David!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:00pm David D:
