  12:02pm V Priceless:

Hey Bill! Good to have u back! Checking in from the vortex of usual Saturday house work! Woo!
Avatar 12:04pm Bill Mac:

Afternoon Gents! Working here too!
Avatar 12:04pm Brian in UK:

Sgt. Tumbleweed reporting for duty. Sir.
Stand by your turntables.
Avatar 12:04pm northguineahills:

Cool, I'm around on a Saturday afternoon!
Avatar 12:06pm Bill Mac:

Turntables engaged. Avatar submitted.
NGH @ BiUK present and accounted for...
Avatar 12:08pm fred:

Bill, it looks like you're doing more shows as a pinch-DJ than if you had a regular slot
Avatar 12:08pm Brian in UK:

My ring tone is a tango. The sexiest dance next to the mashed potato.
Avatar 12:15pm Bill Mac:

@Fred Seems that way doesn't it? I justify it by saying I prefer being here different times of the day... It makes ME happy
Avatar 12:17pm fred:

That makes sense, and it also means you can make more listeners happy. Different days and hours cover more time zones
Avatar 12:19pm Bill Mac:

Yep... part of my plan to CONQUER THE WORLD!!!
Avatar 12:21pm Brian in UK:

Conqueror by Bunny Wailer is a great song. Just saying.

I can see that Bri.... reminds of Saturday mornings at the Philly station, when I used to be the only none rastafarian DJ.... I still thank those guys for push starting my car when I had no other solution...
  12:47pm V Priceless:

been digging first three Tull records again lately.
Avatar 12:47pm Jay/London:

Avatar 12:48pm Bill Mac:

@Jay What, no snakes?
Avatar 12:49pm Jay/London:

no snakes no fun they just sleep a lot bill
Avatar 12:49pm Bill Mac:

@VP The 40th anniversary CD was floating around here a few years back.... really good stuff
Avatar 12:51pm Bill Mac:

My brother used to have snakes. Never understood it and it didn't end real well for one of them as I recollect
Avatar 12:51pm Brian in UK:

Hello Jay. We are hamster sitting and she escaped from her zorbing ball. Under the sofa. Panic in the grey room. All safe again now.
  12:53pm Michael Cologne:

Hey Bill, 10 People on a Barbecue and the zzzzzzzzzZero Hour !
Avatar 12:54pm Jay/London:

@ Brian my rats will always find there way back ..... when i call them
Avatar 12:56pm Bill Mac:

@Mike: I'll try not to be too intrusive.....
10 people on a barbecue? Do you have that much sause?
  12:57pm Michael Cologne:

Summer Bill, late but real. Saturday and Weekend. Just tunes in. Neighbours, Friends. How`s Life ?
Avatar 12:58pm Brian in UK:

Keith Emerson & the Nice is like Diana Ross & the Supremes.
Avatar 12:59pm Brian in UK:

@Michael we are having a late Summer here. Sounds like the same in Germany.
  12:59pm Michael:

Yes, for the first time on some days in a row.
Avatar 1:00pm Bill Mac:

@Mike Excepting for this herniated disk everything's pretty grand. Just don't ask me to run for smokes
Avatar 1:00pm Jay/London:

i think its wrong for bands to to call them selfs "something & ......"
  1:02pm Michael:

@ Bill no one`s smoking. Just talking and ...drinking. So, no drug free zone. Than you for Ketih Emerson. We talked about Prog Rock a few days before.
Avatar 1:04pm Sem Chumbo:

Whew, glad THAT's over with (Farmers' Market). Now for some tunes.
Hiya, Bill, Zzzzzzeroheads.
Avatar 1:06pm Brian in UK:

@Michael talking of prog rock; can you believe that Steven Wilson is No.3 in the album charts this week.
Avatar 1:08pm Bill Mac:

  1:08pm Michael:

@Brian ,oh...! We talked about it discussing the influence of LSD on that sound ...
Avatar 1:09pm Bill Mac:

@BiUK Isn't this guy involved in a million different things?
Avatar 1:09pm Sem Chumbo:

  1:11pm Michael:

@Brian , thank you for the link..
I`m back on the crowd...
Avatar 1:13pm Brian in UK:

Bill he used to be the singer in Porcupine Tree. No idea why I am telling you this as I like Prog Rock slightly less than indigestion.
  1:14pm P-90:

Yo Sem!
Avatar 1:14pm Bill Mac:

I may be repeating myself but I think he has something to do with a couple of the XTC remasters
Avatar 1:14pm Brian in UK:

Sem. What-Ho. Did you sell all your produce?
Avatar 1:15pm Brian in UK:

Bill, you see that is the indigestion making you repeat yourself.
Avatar 1:16pm Bill Mac:

I need a rimshot....
Avatar 1:18pm Sem Chumbo:

Alas, there are not enough people hereabouts ruining their livers and lives for me to run out of liquor, BiUK.
Any news on the house-hunting?
Avatar 1:22pm Brian in UK:

Sem we went up to Shropshire, a county where time has stopped. Most properties were around Seventeenth century vintage. No 'planes over flying, clear skies at night, you can watch the satellites circulating above. After the fourth house you get a bit boggled. Thanks for asking.
Avatar 1:27pm Sem Chumbo:

So, I am getting that time-travelling to poor roads, poor houses and the delights of pre-Crapper plumbing is not sufficiently motivating you to take the leap.
Avatar 1:28pm Jay/London:

am going to this on Sunday its a bank holiday this side of the pond www.facebook.com...
Avatar 1:31pm Sem Chumbo:

Very satisfying, this AC.
Avatar 1:31pm Brian in UK:

Sem, not necessarily so. We saw four that were good. Not all had septic tanks!

@Jay did not realise that Ten Benson were still around.
  1:32pm Stanley:

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and friends beyond the binary.
Avatar 1:33pm Jay/London:

well looks like it Brian :)
Avatar 1:33pm Bill Mac:

Great googly moogly, it's a Scotsman!
Avatar 1:34pm Brian in UK:

A Jocko Homo. Hello Stanley.
The Festival nearly over?
Avatar 1:35pm Sem Chumbo:

Hello, Stanley.
  1:35pm Stanley:

Hoots mon.
Avatar 1:36pm Jay/London:

hi Stanley now the gang is all here :)
Avatar 1:36pm Sem Chumbo:

And a cohoots to you in return.
Avatar 1:36pm Bill Mac:

That's right Jay, we got the band back together
Avatar 1:37pm Sem Chumbo:

  1:38pm Stanley:

We've escaped Edinburgh and are at a family doo in England. We had a strawberry cream tea on the lawn, as is customary found these parts.
Avatar 1:38pm fred:

I always enjoy some Quitron, though the last time I saw him was a bit of a let down: the stage was too high, which cut the connection
Avatar 1:39pm Jay/London:

what no tables to put it on Stanley .....
Avatar 1:40pm Jay/London:

or a chair to sit on Stanley ....
Avatar 1:41pm northguineahills:

The first time I saw Quintron was in a basment that was leaking sewage, it was an amazing (and stinky) show.
  1:41pm Stanley:

Hi Jay. Better than that we had tablecloths, tea pots, cake stands, the lot.
Avatar 1:41pm fred:

Quintron in a small venue just guarantees a good time
Avatar 1:42pm northguineahills:

(My friend's house, w/ the leaking sewage, was nicknamed "Fort Awsome" for when they put on shows.)
  1:43pm V Priceless:

Nice Alice. Going to see him tonite with Purple and Edgar Winter!
Avatar 1:44pm Brian in UK:

Alice has a good female guitarist, I believe.
Avatar 1:44pm Brian in UK:

Bill, we pre-recorded these comments.
Avatar 1:47pm northguineahills:

errr., Fort Awesome
  1:47pm V Priceless:

Great band, the Coopers
Avatar 1:47pm Brian in UK:

@ngh how is the new job working out?
Avatar 1:48pm Bill Mac:

@VP Agreed, you should catch the Mark Maron interview. Worth the hour invested
Avatar 1:50pm northguineahills:

Excellent, some of statistical interpolation predictive maps are making the U.S. Dept of Environmental Protection annual report for the progress of the restoration of the Everglades. Finished it up Friday evening and got the remote thumbs up from the CEO. Feels great to use my noggin again.
Avatar 1:53pm Jay/London:

@ Stanley all that and no chairs or tables he he
Avatar 1:53pm Brian in UK:

I thought the Everglades were a dangerous place best left to Fifteenth century explorers.
Avatar 1:54pm fred:

@ngh: Restoration of the Everglades? It must also feel nice to be using your skills for a worthy cause
Avatar 1:56pm Brian in UK:

ngh seriously, really pleased for you.
Avatar 1:57pm northguineahills:

Agriculture, sugar cane farming, canals, wetland draining, and dredging rivers straight instead of meandering, has left a lot of pollutants in in the Everglades ecosystem and prevented the needed water flow for the ecosystem. The restoration efforts started 25 years ago (I used to read academic papers on it in HS).
Avatar 2:00pm Bill Mac:

The real question is - is there positive progress. Is the environment down there being repaired?
Avatar 2:03pm Sem Chumbo:

Talk about a compressed Zeitgeist of a era, jumpin' Hay-suesss. That Birds thing.
Avatar 2:03pm northguineahills:

Most definitely, the levels of mercury and sulfur etc has dropped dramatically in the last 20 years, in the water, soil, and aquatic life.
Avatar 2:14pm Brian in UK:

Yes covered I See You on their first album before they went Prog.

Sadam Hussein did a number on the water systems in southern Iraq where the March Arabs live. He really screwed them by building canals and redirecting the water.
Avatar 2:15pm Brian in UK:

Thoroughly recommend this book.
Avatar 2:21pm Brian in UK:

Bill, great mix today. Got that edge that I think you are looking for in your selections that you intimated earlier.

The trouble with MOR is that you are likely to get run over.
Avatar 2:24pm Bill Mac:

Thanks man - yeah, I'm entertained....
Avatar 2:28pm Sem Chumbo:

Liking this set mucho. the flow, the flow, the flow.
Avatar 2:29pm Bill Mac:

Somefin's goin' on
Avatar 2:34pm Sem Chumbo:

Beautiful linking blues and gospel, yep, something going on for sure:-
Avatar 2:34pm Brian in UK:

You know what music gets your feet and hips moving. Whitey do not apply.
  2:49pm V Priceless:

Fun show Bill! Tanx!
Avatar 2:50pm Bill Mac:

@VP Tanks! See you in the future!
Avatar 2:55pm fred:

Nice! I was talking about this Nino Ferrer song (and vintage video) on a playlist a few weeks ago
Avatar 2:55pm Sem Chumbo:

Thanks, Bill, been a real treat. See you sometime soon again, I hope. Bye, all!
Avatar 2:55pm northguineahills:

danks, Bill! enjoy the afternoon, I'm off to explore the local tienda mexicana (can't believe there is one in my new town!)
Avatar 2:55pm Bill Mac:

Later on Sem!!
Avatar 2:57pm Bill Mac:

@Fred I need to find out whether that's the real label name for the comp I pulled this off of.
Avatar 2:58pm Bill Mac:

@NGH See you! Keep fighting the good fight!
Avatar 2:58pm fred:

Thanks Bill! (also, that Jeff Simmons pic is very appropriate for Doug's stream)
Avatar 2:59pm Bill Mac:

@Fred Wished I coulda raised something cool like that back then
Avatar 3:01pm northguineahills:

@fred: It's almost Doug's doppelganger!
Avatar 3:05pm Brian in UK:

Adieu and travel well.
Avatar 3:06pm Bill Mac:

Hey Folks, the real world is calling. If you're up really early/late on Friday I'm on the FMU stream this Friday night Septamber 1st from 9-midnaught!!!
