Hey everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am Ken From Hyde Park:

Good morning, Amanda. A good day for bowl diving, I see.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am Amanda:

Greetings, steve, Nate, Ken! Let's all dive into this bowl called life
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am Amanda:

Very into ferrets these days after visiting my sister's house, she has two that run freely around.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25am Stevel:

Great flopping ferrrets!

The Dogs seem like nice boys.
Avatar 9:28am steve:

wow, those ferrets have hit the jackpot
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34am Uncle Michael:

I don't wonder who. Do you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39am Amanda:

Who said that?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40am Uncle Michael:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43am Uncle Michael:

You're a stand up gal for keeping the Wonder Who's secret, Amanda.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48am ⓘⓚⓔ:

Switching over from the broadcast stream to the Drummer stream can be hilariously startling when somebody like Greg Ashley is cursing. Since you'll never hear that on regular-flavor WFMU, the contrast provides an extra level of transgressive kick to the profanity.
  9:48am sugarwolf:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49am Amanda:

Haha, thanks Ike. And apologies to Nate who's listening in the car with his 3-year-old.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50am Amanda:

Hiya @sugarwolf!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50am ⓔⓘⓚ:

BTW @Sugarwolf when the new schedule came out, I thought you were on it at first, LOL. Nope, that's just some other person with the same name, heh.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am Amanda:

Good morning @Doug!
  10:23am Rich in NC:

hello all---hey Amanda-!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24am Amanda:

Hey Rich, how are the bluebirds of happiness doing?
  10:25am Rich in NC:

I do not know how many eggs have hatched but I hear ALOT of pepping sounds when MA + PA bring food !!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25am Amanda:

(Listener Rich told me that he has a bluebird nest in his yard FYI.)
  10:27am Rich in NC:

You forgot to mention it is a WFMU birdhouse----check it out on the gallery
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:33am Amanda:

Last weekend I heard some baby hawks in the forest but saw only a baby (fledgling) hairy woodpecker at the feeder.
  10:34am Rich in NC:

was the forest enchanted ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40am coelacanth∅:

g'morning Amanda and Scenarians
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42am Amanda:

Hey and welcome, @coelacanth! It was not an enchanted forest though it was graced by a large amount of chanterelles
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44am coelacanth∅:

a friend told me she's finding more chanterelles this year than she knows what to do with.
Avatar 10:45am steve:

this guy's got the right idea! haha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45am coelacanth∅:

  10:46am Rich in NC:

Never too much Bread on my plate.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53am Amanda:

Happy to fill up on Bread!
  10:56am Alex in Illinois:

I had a cardboard copy of Jingle Jangle from a box of Honeycomb when I was a little kid
Avatar 11:08am steve:

i love when Mayor Quimby goes "I officially declare this WHAT THE HELL IS THAT"... its not even a joke really but made me laugh til i cried as a kid
Avatar 11:10am steve:

yes well said... i think Homer's gross insensitivity in later seasons is 100% lazy writing/resting on laurels
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13am Ken From Hyde Park:

Somewhat off-topic, but I thought of this this morning: There should be a meme of Drumpf asking Putin about election meddling and Putin invokes Bart's "I didn't do it" line.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:29am Amanda:

There might already be one! If you check the FB group "Simpsons against Trump" it might exist...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am doctorjazz:

Hi, late arrival.
Have a nest of baby bunnies in my back yard (my puppy found it). Hardest thing is keeping the puppy away from it (my 8 year old, Ozzie, is no problem).
Avatar 11:34am steve:

whoa the bus that couldn't slow down... hahaha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:37am Amanda:

Aww, thank you for sharing that extremely cute news @doctorjazz.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38am Amanda:

@Alex in Illinois -- wow! I wish more of those cereal box records survived today. I have the Banana Splits 7" EP on the Kellogg's label, but obviously it wasn't IN the box, at least I don't think so.
  11:44am Rich in NC:

Brenda Lee !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47am Amanda:

I actually unloaded a lot of my Brenda Lee 45s, but now hearing that I am wondering why I would do such a thing!
  11:49am Rich in NC:

thanks for another FUN show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am coelacanth:

i had a few records cut off the back of cereal boxes - Bobby Sherman...maybe that's all ?; but i always wanted the banana splits song. it wasn't in the cards because my mother refused to buy sweet cereals unless they were on sale, and if they were on sale they didn't have the records on them.
  11:53am Rob:

Great show! Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for ferreting out fine music to play this morning, Amanda!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am Amanda:

You are so welcome-- all of you! See yiz next week!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am coelacanth:

Thanks Amanda!
