Listener comments!
Persuasive elevator music. With a side of bongo.
Enoch Light:
Used to be great records for sampling & scratching!
Used them a lot back in the days.
Great cover art by Josef Albers (Bauhaus-artist).
*lol*
I know a dark secluded place
A place where no one knows your face
A glass of wine, a fast embrace
It's called Hernando's Hideaway
Ole!
And all you'll see are silhouettes
And all you'll hear are castanets
And no one cares how late it gets
Not at Hernando's Hideaway
Ole!
At the Golden Fingerbowl or any place you go
You will meet your Uncle Max and everyone you know
But if you'll go the spot that I am thinkin' of
You will be free to gaze at me and talk of love
Just knock three times and whisper low
That you and I were sent by Joe
Then strike a match and you will know
You're in Hernando's Hideaway
Ole!
Just knock three times and whisper low
That you and I were sent by Joe
Then strike a match and you will know
You're in Hernando's Hideaway
@BiUK:am sure once you find a new place, you'll get the gardening bug once more.
Then wiki told me what it was... you don't want to know.
This SS is a frantic pace.

Her strength was that her status as a fan of the artists was evident in her style; stumbling over her lines, losing her cool and apparent inexperience only made her more popular, and by the end she was presenting the show alone. She may have been the inspiration for Susan Campy from the Beatles' 1964 film A Hard Day's Night, when George Harrison tells the producer of a fictitious teen television show that Campy is "... that posh bird who gets everything wrong", to which the producer played by Kenneth Haigh replies, "She's a trendsetter. It's her profession." '...
