Avatar 6:35am Howard F:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36am Threemoons:

And let the record show that I was a HUGE KISS fan when I was around 12 years old. My bedroom was plastered with posters and magazine clippings. In fact, they were my first concert also (friend of the family had access to one of those enclosed box-seat suites so me and my friends were isolated from the masses)...
Avatar 6:38am Howard F:

@Threemoons: Ditto for me. Still have concert programs, comic book, coin etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39am Threemoons:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09am Guido from Cologne:

I quite recently made an attempt to listen to "Final Cut".
Just made the first two tracks before i put ist off.
Never liked it and still don't.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11am geoff mcq:

@guido I used to lap up the gloomy Roger Waters stuff and I (still) quite like Final Cut. I do struggle with it nowadays though as I JUST WANNA DANCE!
Avatar 8:11am the Canterbury wood-elf:

This Syd is nicely offsetting the Waters : )
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12am Vincent Nifigance:

So moving from Syd. @the Canterbury wood-elf He straddled a bridge by the Waters?
Avatar 8:13am Brendan in Carroll Gardens:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13am Guido from Cologne:

Good mix though!
respect Clay!
  8:14am king koopa:

sam's depressed
Avatar 8:14am the Canterbury wood-elf:

"Not Now John" off The Final Cut is pretty good, if you have to pick one track. "Southampton Dock" isn't bad.

Waters was always the post-Barrett member of PF who enthusiastically acknowledged Syd's contribution. You can't help wondering what Syd would have made of "The Wall" and "The Final Cut" (I suspect he never even heard the latter).
