Greetings, Amanda, and happy June, all!
Avatar 9:07am northguineahills:

Could use a little stomp this morning...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08am Amanda Nazario:

Stomp it up, everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08am Matt F:

I am joining in the parade
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10am Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, all. Boy, a mouse wouldn't last long in the room with those two on guard. Or maybe they'd invite it to mug for the camera with them.

Happy Sunny Thursday, Amanda
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am Amanda:

@Ken HP I searched for images of "kitten and bird" and shouldn't have been surprised by how many of them were of the kitten eating the bird.
Avatar 9:17am KP:

Before the show is over, I expect to see those two dancing by the light of the moon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am Amanda:

Edward Lear represent
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am listener james from westwood:

Ooh, Matthew Wilder!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:18am Uncle Michael:

Is this a beautiful, pea-green boat?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am Parq:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19am Ken From Hyde Park:

The Twitter links on the home page had a kittens and bunnies video yesterday. Cute? You bet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21am Amanda:

As a teen I interviewed at the Dalton school in Manhattan; their snooty English teacher asked what I was reading currently and I said a biography of Edward Lear. He didn't know who he was!!! And was totally dismissive of my so-called intellect
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:23am Parq:

Nifty arrangement. Makes "In The Pines" sound like a Jaques Brel song.
Avatar 9:23am steve:

hello on and all

the name "Dalton" is so hilariously old money sounding

Manfred, Herbie and Aimee. The family of Mann.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41am Amanda:

I'm so glad all of you could join me this morning! Thanks for listening!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43am Amanda:

On the Blue Swede, the way he says "cafe" is A+
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43am Amanda:

Annabella and Daisy Mae were probably not too fond of each other, if you think about it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:48am listener james from westwood:

Resurfacing after a burst of proofreading to day I'm just as happy to be here, inaugurating a sunny June with the Scenario!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am Uncle Michael:

Mike Finnigan recorded a great version of Ace in the Hole.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am Little Danny:

Good morning Amanda and all scenariosters.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am Amanda:

Why thank you, @LJFW! Glad to accompany your proofreading, if it's not too distracting!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am listener james from westwood:

Wonder if Alf Clausen had this in mind when writing "Let's Keep the Spring in Springfield"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55am Amanda:

Ha! That is a good guess. Though I don't think Clausen writes the songs, just arranges them (and composes the incidental music). But I see what you're saying.

Welcome Little Danny!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05am Little Danny:

Amanda, have you heard the FOLLOW ME soundtrack that "Spray Colored Glasses" was also included on? Glorious, mostly instrumental sunshine pop c/o Stu Phillips. A real fave of mine
  11:06am Doctorjazz:

Great set!
(Both Sides Now was an interesting take on Joni. Jazzbos usually use their harmonic sophistication and add chords to "simple" pop/folk/rock stuff. They stepped the chords out to a model vamp, very nice.
Great car company!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12am Amanda:

@LD I've heard it, it's great! But I wanna see the film. Seems like the right time of year to watch it.

@Doctorjazz - Thanks! Means a lot coming from a jazz head such as yourself. With a degree, even.
  11:14am Dave B. (@BuckyKatt):

Tuning in for the last hour or so. Don't know Archie & the Bunkers, but like the sound. "Hey Edith, turn up that rock & roll!'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am Amanda:

Not ashamed to admit I spun this 100% based on the artist name.
  11:19am Dave B. (@BuckyKatt):

Ha, I did the same as a college DJ, decades ago. Or if a band had an interesting-looking album cover (especially since artists could do a lot on a 12" x 12" LP jacket!).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am listener james from westwood:

I missed the big debate! I can't entirely hate on an episode with Skinner roaring off into the distance saying "Up yours, children!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am Ken From Hyde Park:

*ringing handbell* "Hear ye! Hear ye! Simpsons Time is great!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am Paulie B:

Dead white male bashing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42am listener james from westwood:

"I've been called a greasy thug too, and it never stops hurting."
  11:42am steve:

I've been called a greasy thug too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:46am Paulie B:

So here's what we're going to do:
grease ourselves up real good...
  11:48am steve:

One, where's the fife. And two, gimme the fife.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49am Amanda:

Haha! @steve, I love that one too.
Avatar 11:58am northguineahills:

Thanks Amanda for a fun morning!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am Amanda:

Thanks, all, for listening today! see ya next week.
