Listener comments!

Avatar 3:16pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...good rewrite of 'Nighttime' ('I wake up every morning throw the covers from my bed...wanna be w/ yoo in the nighttime')...
Avatar 3:38pm Mailman Tom:

I think the Lloyd Thaxton Show deserves to be added to your great TV show list. It was as good a show as the Clay Cole show.
  3:57pm Al:

Elvis "cleaned up" "Hound Dog" for a more general audience. The original is far better.
Avatar 4:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...bowdlerized it (yeah) - but also accelerated it...only heard his for decades, tho', is the thing...
  4:20pm Al:

Terry Reid sounds like the male version of Janis.
Avatar 4:44pm Mailman Tom:

The Tokens had 13 charted hits on Cashbox.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for that token of information, MT!
  4:51pm Santos L Halper:

Wearing my Johnny Mercer t shirt as it happens...Glowworm
  4:55pm The Shocking Blue:

YAY!
  4:56pm Uncle Pink Floyd:

a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-AAAAAHHH
  4:58pm Tom:

I think everyone's in a while we should all here Hocus-Pocus by Focus. Thanks!
  4:59pm Tom:

Typo! Every once in a while. Duh.
  5:00pm Tom:

Hear! Double duh! Super stoned!
  5:00pm Al:

The Mills Bros. were great at imitating musical instruments and made recordings with only a guitar and their voices.
  6:12pm Dustjacket:

Who did the song with the chorus "It's not for you, It's not for you"?
  6:58pm Bill Kelly:

Mailman Tom...I hardly ever watched Lloyd Thaxton. He may have been on at odd hours where I was.
  7:02pm Bill Kelly:

Dustjacket...Was it "Is That For You?" by Theatre Royal?
  8:42am Dustjacket:

Ah Yes! Thanks Bill! Great track!
  12:53am John from CDA:

The name "Mistkafer" is German for "dung beetle". Also, I remember Lloyd Thaxton. His show was from a time when the major TV markets had their local versions of American Bandstand, with Thaxton from Los Angeles. However, when we got his show on Spokane's KXLY, when I was about five, the show was already a few years old and times had changed since then.
