Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

  6:07pm Annie:

Sounds good to class of 84
  6:07pm Stevel:

Sounds good to me. Not sure I've ever heard this, but yes, it's almost Friday!
  6:07pm jesstowery:

hey Clay!
Avatar 6:07pm tuner fish:

what was the track before this one, clay?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07pm common:

The heap!
Avatar 6:07pm Fredericks:

Not the Heap!
Avatar 6:07pm geezerette:

Hi Clay and all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:08pm sweeks:

Blowin' free, bring on the weekend
  6:08pm Stevel:

So glad to be listening live, as I figure out dinner.

Hee. Whoopsie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm karankeeone:

Great Band! Uriah Heep! Salisbury!!!
Avatar 6:10pm glenn:

best band ever named after a dickens character.
Avatar 6:11pm fm Mike:

I love Clay's easy way of reaching into people's soul.
Avatar 6:11pm glenn:

unless there was a band named scrooge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm common:

They played in W.V. Every weekend. It seemed
  6:11pm Sally:

Isn't Clay the best!
Avatar 6:11pm drewo:

Howdy Clay and Pigeonaires. It's my birthday this week. And a new baseball season. Best time o' the year!
  6:12pm Dean:

There's Marley's Ghost.
Avatar 6:12pm fm Mike:

Sally he is :)
  6:13pm Dean:

But, yeah, Uriah Heap's probably a better band.
  6:15pm Stevel:

You said it, Sally!

"Did you like it?" Such a simple, non judgmental question.
Avatar 6:15pm fm Mike:

Lol @ that bwoomp after "My mom died". Just so incidental.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm common:

Moon river
  6:17pm Dean:

Has a couple years to look forward to a colonoscopy. A real party.
Avatar 6:17pm glenn:

clay. what the fuck is with the prostate fascination? :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm melinda:

@Mike: yeah, the background sounds are great.
Avatar 6:18pm glenn:

meh. the worst part of a colonoscopy, by far, is the prep.
Avatar 6:19pm fm Mike:

Regular prostate exam isn't bad.

glenn, don't you have to fast and all that stuff for a colonoscopy?
Avatar 6:20pm fm Mike:

I just did a tribal dance lol
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm common:

Indeed Glenn, the drugs are fine though
Avatar 6:20pm Slick Goldtooth:

Never a dull moment on this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm sweeks:

Tyler didn't know what he was getting himself into.
  6:21pm Dean:

For sure, it's the prep. You adjust your diet then fast, which isn't all that big a deal, but then you drink what seems like gallons of yucky stuff that purges the intestinal tract.
Avatar 6:21pm glenn:

i'm fucking dieing here.
Avatar 6:22pm glenn:

yeah, the purgative is disgusting.
  6:22pm whomp:

HA! this dude is hilarious!
Avatar 6:23pm glenn:

yeah, no. i was laughing at the improptu dance party.
  6:24pm Stevel:

This is the most satisfying radio. Clay's great on the archive, but just plain exciting live, especially tonight's show.
Avatar 6:25pm glenn:

mike pence is from hell.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:26pm common:

Right, glenn
Avatar 6:27pm fm Mike:

Ron Pearlman is an excellent actor. Wonderful voice.
Avatar 6:27pm Slick Goldtooth:

If you folks need something to scratch the BBC reality itch, highly recommend Bargain Hunt. There's a crap ton of episodes on youtube and it's just a perfect ordinary show
  6:28pm Dean:

Pearlman was in the workshopped version of "Angels in America" I saw in LA in the early '90s.
  6:29pm whomp:

in a "real Indiana way". HAHA!
  6:30pm whomp:

Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Ralphine:

Is that piano from Person of Interest?
Avatar 6:32pm Slick Goldtooth:

Choice pick Clay, my man
Avatar 6:32pm Fredericks:

Now, we're getting somewhere.
Avatar 6:33pm glenn:

i just realized how much jose sounds like rodriguez.
  6:33pm james f:

Avatar 6:35pm Andrew S:

Swag For Life Member 6:37pm Ralphine:

They played that piano piece in the last episode of Person of Interest. I just checked it on Netflix.
  6:37pm tomasz.:

so you're a prog man Sean
  6:37pm andrewb:

I loved Ron Pearlman in "name of the rose". No monster make-up.
Avatar 6:38pm glenn:

what you've done to our language?????
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm common:

You are insane, clay
  6:39pm Michael:

Definitely time for some Marillion now. "Grendel"? I think the moment has come.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm sweeks:

Avatar 6:41pm glenn:

Avatar 6:41pm Fredericks:

Bun E. Carlos Comments on Cheap Trick Lawsuit: ‘Well, you know, good friends don’t have to sue their friends in federal court.’
  6:45pm whomp:

Whoa is this Clay singing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm sweeks:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm tomasz.:

this music sounds more like Episode IV: A New Knee
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56pm melinda:

Avatar 6:58pm Fredericks:

Why does the universe smell so bad?
  7:00pm Stevel:

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!
