Listener comments!

  12:06pm Listener142985:

Will a bike helmet suffice? Like this track lots.
Avatar 12:07pm Parq:

The droning rhythm guitar reminds me of the Velvet Underground.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm Liz Berg:

Greetings folks, a bike helmet should suffice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Bronwyn Bishop:

hi liz and everyone!
  12:11pm Listener142985:

If necessary could maybe find that Swiss army helmet my kid made me buy 10 years ago. Think this show is gonna be good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Switchblade Batman:

Miss Berg kicking out the jams today. Awesome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm Passaic River Blues:

This would mash perfectly with "Teenage Kicks".
Avatar 12:17pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Singing Teenage Kicks along with this song. Hello Lizzners!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...suspect Monplaisir loves Townshend like I do - Thx (I be out the door in a minute leave yer Comments alone)...
Avatar 12:35pm CDToaster:

With that Monoplaisir track, I thought I was listening to McKendree Spring"s "I Should've Known." Would've been a good segue I think. Lobo Loco's good too. I suppose it's too late for the suggestion, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm Passaic River Blues:

@CDT: I'll have to check out that McKendree Spring song because the Monplaisir track was gorgeous.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Liz Berg:

This Adrian Carter track is John Carpenter-esque, no?
Avatar 12:47pm Marcel M:

It tis. And it tis diggable.
Avatar 12:48pm CDToaster:

@Pacific: Your comment is exactly what this message board is all about. Thank you! Yes, after Liz's show is over, what you want to do is open two browsers and go back to the archives with each then cue up the Monplaisir track on one browser and the the McKendree Spring track on the second, then listen to each in succession. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The MS track could be a top ten favorite song. The hook lyric is TOO beautiful! Hope it works for you.
Avatar 12:49pm CDToaster:

@Passaic: Sorry, I wrote Pacific.
Avatar 12:50pm Marcel M:

Ah! You played a Kuniya track :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm Michael 98145:

Avatar 1:26pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

  1:26pm Mark R:

This is some hot shit.
Avatar 1:27pm mauri:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Liz Berg:

Freak out yo mudda!
Avatar 1:32pm ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Liz, it is on my bucket list to go full out in Rio!
  1:36pm Mark R:

This music is really cool but you're going to regret it when you have to pronounce some of these goddamn tongue-twister names later. You'll be wishing you'd just played some John Smith and Mary Higgins records.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm Liz Berg:

Jennique, you'll have to report back once you check that one off!

It'd be hilarious to play "Car Bomb" by Negativland after this ;)
Avatar 1:54pm βrian:

Or is it Unsafe at Any Speed?
Avatar 1:54pm drumsoverbogota:

@Cliff I was just thinking on this or "Yellow, Black and rectangular"
