My parents had Roger Miller's Greatest Hits, and I listened to it constantly when I was ten. I still have it memorized, I think.
Avatar 2:17pm Mailman Tom:

Is this new from the Rolling Stones?

Hey Matt,
Good Soundtrack to mark the passing of the Carnegie Deli. (Although I'm more of a Katzs man.)
Happy New Year to you and yours.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Scraps:

  2:41pm Lore:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm drr:

Is Earl Vince and the Valiants related to Vince Vance and the Valiants?
  3:00pm mic a:

Save for later viewing -- Link Wray with Robert Gordon on German TV, 1978. Link was 49, fightin' trim and on fire.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm Artie Haywire:

Getting hungry now, slowly.
Avatar 3:09pm Mailman Tom:

Hungry for Frog's Legs?
Avatar 3:21pm Monica:

alright now - that's what i'm sayin'!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm doctorjazz:

Great version of Take Me To The River!
(tried to go to the Carnegie Deli on Monday, after a half hour of waiting (and asking the front of the line, who had waited 2 hours and still weren't in), I had a great pastrami sandwich at the 2nd Avenue Deli (costs an arm and a leg these days, though).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm drr:

(Vince Vance and The Valiants = silly New Orleans cover/novelty/funny hairstyle band who, oddly enough, did the original "All I Want For Christmas Is You".)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm doctorjazz:

Duke, love this album (the suites from late in Duke's career are all great, love the New Orleans Suite).
