Faye love the show. Always takes away that pre-week sunday anxiety.
Avatar 5:13pm Faye:

lovely to hear paul! hello sugarWOLF!
  5:18pm JakeGould:

Hello Faye, RevRabbit, SugarWolf and Paul D.

And this “Vital Idles” is really nice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm common:

hello faye. everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm chris_in_space:

Hey Faye, Children.

I agree, JakeGould–that Vital Idles was some good stuff.
Avatar 5:21pm listener mark:

Hello Faye. Hello every one and two and three!
Avatar 5:24pm listener mark:

Holy jumping sliding dinner napkin! A gif! It's been so long. I am so happy.
Avatar 5:27pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...'Thurston...have you got yr sh*t?'...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm @sugarwolf@:

oh yuck, it's snowing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47pm common:

this is nice
  5:47pm JakeGould:

Snow is better than the freezing rain that is supposed to hit tomorrow in NY/NJ.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm @sugarwolf@:

Yeah, I don't want freezing rain, hope it just is regular rain
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:50pm common:

good one, rev rab!!
Avatar 5:51pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...here in NH - ya get used to the idea that it might actually be warmer if it snows...it might actually be better for locomotion than just ice, too, even...
  5:51pm JakeGould:

Yeah, last week—or was it week before?—it was just rainy for 2 days straight. So I spent my whole 1 hour lunch break in a nearby Pret-A-Manger… So miserable… Especially since the staff was cheering every 5 minutes or so to give a random person a “surprise” gift cookie or something.

I would have loved a free cookie, but the forced staff joy was soul sucking.
Avatar 5:52pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...we're gonna Win so much...you'll get tired of Winning...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56pm Michele:

I like this. Hi Faye!
Avatar 5:58pm Faye:

hi Michele!
  6:02pm Ahmad:

Time to play Galaxie 500's cover of "Listen The Snow is Falling."
  6:02pm outofluck70:

Yeah, snow! Testify sister!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Snow has commenced here, too, now.
  6:08pm JakeGould:

“Snow problem!” is what Alf (snowman version) would say.
Avatar 6:09pm Faye:

Alf makes me feel extremely depressed
Avatar 6:10pm Linda Lee:

sweet sounds as always Faye! looking for a foot of snow by late tomorrow here in the catskills!
  6:11pm P-90:

Hi Faye! Thanks for the gift of gif for the holidaze
  6:11pm JakeGould:

@Faye: I am really sorry about that…

If it means anything, in the early days of streaming, YouTube was proudly showing episodes of Alf… I was excited! But then after 10 minutes I felt really, really depressed… The show makes no sense without the commercials… When you concentrate on the plot it’s so bad.
Avatar 6:12pm OYoung:

It's snowing in this Hyde Park (Chicago), too!! Hi Faye. Great show, as always
  6:15pm Old Dave:

We'd like some snow in Philly, please!
  6:15pm Cooh John:

Hello Faye and fellow children. Switching over from Meghan's tribute show.
Avatar 6:22pm glenn:

snowing in high park in toronto too. what a coincidink.
Avatar 6:28pm Linda Lee:

  6:39pm JakeGould:

Monty Hall like “Del Monte” right?
  6:40pm Ahmad:

Sam from Radiator Hospital is in her new band but Allison Crutchfield is not in RH.
  6:42pm Old Dave:

Ottawa is where that Justin Trudeau guy lives. He's cool.
Also that David Johnston guy, the Governor General. I'm reading his book of letters, glenn.
Neither man would be acceptable in US political office... they think too much, and seem to
have something called empathy! Maybe even souls?
  6:57pm listener #126464:

switching off. thank you again Faye.
  6:58pm listener #126464:

radiator hospital is worth seeing
Avatar 7:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Some maintain that Trudeau is like a NeoLiberal..but since the OranguReich became ascendant, that does seem like petty bitching...
Avatar 7:01pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...altho' that's all about the extinction of a true Left...
Avatar 7:03pm Linda Lee:

unfortunately ~ it's neoliberal policy that create conditions favoring the Cheetoh Bandito & others like him ... so i'd just as soon lose those too.
Avatar 7:04pm Linda Lee:

sorry for tense confusion there. my meds are late.
  7:06pm Old Dave:

I'm afraid it will be gone soon enough, Rabbit. Friends in the Great White North tell me they just follow US lead on every damn thing, in slow (years) time.
Avatar 7:09pm glenn:

how's the farm, old dave? you might appreciate this. www.youtube.com...
Avatar 7:11pm glenn:

we're ahead of the u.s. on quite a few things, actually.
  7:17pm Old Dave:

Thanks. glenn! Unbelievable and heart-warming. Personal freedom being the main thing we ain't got
compared with yourselves.

@Linda Lee- get on the bus with my dear wife:
Avatar 7:21pm Paul D:

Faye where did you find that Wild Swans album?
Avatar 7:21pm Paul D:

or is it an MP3
Avatar 7:23pm Linda Lee:

don't be mistaken about personal freedom in the states old Dave ..
it's illusory. where it matters most, we have almost none.
alas, in any case, there's no leaving the homestead this winter, even for a day. too much on the plate. :-)
  7:26pm Ahmad:

Always thought this band was unfairly overlooked.
Avatar 7:26pm Faye:

Avatar 7:27pm Linda Lee:

really pretty sounds. haven't heard them before.
Avatar 7:28pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@glenn: You're sure as hell ahead of the U.S. now.
  7:30pm Ahmad:

They seem to always be touring with Beach House. I don't care much for Beach House but good on them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31pm melinda:

Great sounds, Faye.
  7:33pm Old Dave:

Family and community are what make the difference Linda. Are you a "prepper?"
Front page WSJ Friday describes nicely how DT controls no less than 94 LLCs.
That is how they screw you and I, who stupidly pay taxes and work like dogs if we're able.
Avatar 7:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Loving Papercuts. (Altho' I currently work in a printing factory - & they're kinda the bain of my existence!) Always saids Faye you remind me of young ladies used to work @ music store I haunted & just wondered where they learned about all this outstanding latest stuff...DJ Kayley used to bring a younger fresher bit of oxygen to the whole enterprise too - tho' FMU's always an embarrassment of diverse riches...
Avatar 7:39pm Paul D:

So many songs starred on this playlist.
Avatar 7:41pm Paul D:

AND just ordered space flower by wild swans... damn you faye
Avatar 7:42pm Linda Lee:

Beggars' Banquet Stones! when they were a truly fantastic band. lovely tune.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm chris_in_space:

aww man, heading to Stones' "No Expectations" just made a snowy night in Toronto a little warmer
Avatar 7:43pm Linda Lee:

bless you Faye.
Avatar 7:43pm Faye:

Avatar 7:43pm Faye:

im glad you all feel the same way i do about this song
Avatar 7:44pm Linda Lee:

just recently saw the Rock n Roll Circus. realized all over again what an incredible performer Jagger was. mesmerizing!!!
  7:44pm JakeGould:

Avatar 7:45pm glenn:

is this in honour of mick's new baby?
Avatar 7:45pm Linda Lee:

Beggars Banquet / Let It Bleed. fantastic.
Avatar 7:45pm Faye:

HAHA no, but i did see that story
Avatar 7:45pm glenn:

the creepy old fucker.
Avatar 7:48pm Linda Lee:

Mick's always been somewhat creepy. that's part of his magic.
  7:51pm Old Dave:

Kazuki is overtly creepy
Avatar 7:52pm Linda Lee:

now i have to look & see. i do go for the creepy.
Avatar 7:53pm glenn:

lots of creepy in the stones, between mick and wyman and brian.
Avatar 7:53pm Linda Lee:

thanks so much for the very fine tunes today, Faye!
  7:54pm Old Dave:

Thanks, and all best Faye- great show as always.
Avatar 7:54pm Linda Lee:

let alone Keith, glenn. his very own category of creepy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Sweep off the runway; astral plane is about to touch down!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54pm chris_in_space:

@Linda Lee: I could never understand why the Stones were somehow unhappy about their performance in Rock n Roll Circus. They killed it, and Jagger was ridiculously good at his devil game in '68.
Avatar 7:55pm glenn:

i find keith more curmudgeonly than creepy, to be honest.
Avatar 7:55pm Faye:

thanks for listening guys
Avatar 7:55pm Linda Lee:

god yes, chris. very good.
nowadays, glenn, for sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:55pm chris_in_space:

Thanks Faye and Children. Wicked as usual.
  7:56pm P-90:

Thanks for being here on Sunday evenings, Faye!
  7:56pm JakeGould:

This show helped me make digital snowflakes.
  7:58pm #4:

DJ Keili? Did u say Fay??
Avatar 7:59pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Today's the Anniversary of Rock'n'Roll Circus! I understand why they felt they were substandard - but like Altamont - they showed they could deliver in hard circumstances.
Avatar 7:59pm Linda Lee:

no idea this was the anniversary! fantastic show, really.
Avatar 8:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& TheWho were sh*te hot @ that moment - so there's that...
Avatar 8:00pm Linda Lee:

too close for comfort
Avatar 8:02pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

chris_in_space is exactly correct.
Avatar 12:25am listener mark:

Thank you Faye! Fell asleep on the couch under the comforter! See you on the radio next week!
  9:58am Ajay:
