Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:09pm Faye:

TADA ITS ME hello friends thanks for listening!
Avatar 5:14pm geezerette:

Hello Mademoiselle Faye & fellows!
It's SunFaye evening. :)
  5:16pm MONEYBAG$:

This is more bizarre than How Bizarre
Avatar 5:26pm TehBadDr:

Hello Faye, and Children!
Avatar 5:27pm TehBadDr:

This is the lovely discordant sort of thing that keeps me coming back!
Avatar 5:28pm Doug Werewolf:

Yeah baby
Avatar 5:32pm geezerette:

fleep,it's about to rain in Hollywood for the second time today!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm fleep:

Yeah, geezerette, I was out after our storm breathing as much as possible. Some of it was air!
Avatar 5:36pm dan in wisconsin:

The Fall, yes!
  5:37pm monobrau:

That's my favorite Pavement song
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm Faye:

Avatar 5:39pm dan in wisconsin:

This was the album that introduced me to them.
  5:43pm Diane:

Hello Faye! Did you see Jonathan Richman when he played at Monty Hall? If so, did he play Astral Plane?
  5:46pm melinda:

Hi Faye and kids

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47pm Scraps:

h'lo ch'ld'n
  5:47pm JakeGould:

Hello all! Happy to come in just in time to hear “The Fall.”

@Diane: I’m not Faye, but I was at Monty Hall when Jonathan Richman played and he did not play “Astral Plane.” Mainly played tons of acoustic new stuff and did a minor riff on “Egyptian Reggae” but that’s it.
Avatar 5:48pm geezerette:

Fleep, us too! Air so clean and everything shining against the light / dark sky. IT'S RAINING RIGHT NOW. :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm Faye:

I was tragically not able to attend & therefore I do not know.....
Avatar 5:50pm geezerette:

Heya, RevRab,Scraps, Jake!
  5:51pm Diane:

@Jake, what did you think of his new stuff?
  5:52pm JakeGould:

@Diane: I’ve seen him 3 times… Once in 1994, another in 1998 and then this one in 2016… Honestly, this 2016 show stunk. Michael Shelley’s show the day after talked about how Jonathan’s OCD has gotten the best of him and I have to agree. I hated the show. But that is just my opinion.
  5:53pm martp:

  5:54pm martp:

  5:54pm Diane:

Now all we need is The Fall to play Monty Hall. Thanks for the update.
  5:55pm JakeGould:

@Diane: I’m pretty sure that a show by “The Fall” at Monty Hall be a good show.
Avatar 5:55pm TehBadDr:

It's Faye? Oh yeah, right. Everything is OK.
  5:56pm JakeGould:

Faye, you mean that “69” (the album) is good for chillaxling, right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm Faye:

lol thanks martp
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Faye:

i can always count on you to have the same taste as me
  6:01pm Diane:

Faye, I think I just helped to reach your goal. Thanks for your show!
  6:02pm sugarwolf:

Hi hi hi
  6:02pm JakeGould:

FWIW, listened to “Vanity” on Bandcamp and they are pretty cool. They also know where the “Soccer Tavern” are so hey! katorgaworks.bandcamp.com...

Avatar 6:06pm listener mark:

@Diane thank you for finishing that, I'm OC and the 99% was getting to me.
  6:08pm Diane:

Too funny.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

She sounded a lot like Kim Gordon that last one!
Rawkin' hard w/ panache.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Faye:

  6:10pm JakeGould:

That dude also sounded a bit Muppet-y for a second in a song. Not a bad thing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

... ou l'insouciance droite, peut-être - quelque chose comme ça! ...
Oh moi! Une telle erreur de piétons ...
  6:18pm Mart:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm Tome:

('Nervous Breakdown' by Black Flag)
Avatar 6:25pm geezerette:

Wanna hear these while stompin' in the rain.
  6:25pm JakeGould:

Almost a “Nervous Breakdown.”
Avatar 6:26pm geezerette:

Black Flag were great.
  6:34pm JakeGould:

“Black Flag” is for grandmas and grandpas who talk about Alexander Haig.
Avatar 6:38pm geezerette:

like 'em anyway.
  6:42pm JakeGould:

Apropos to nothing, I have a decent indie band name I’d like to share: “Byron Maiden”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Scraps:

Avatar 6:47pm geezerette:

good one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Haig had hardly any good tracks I remember...'I'm In Charge' was catchy, but forgettable...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50pm Faye:

catchy but forgettable is the new tagline for hello children
Avatar 6:51pm geezerette:

this is good.
(it's ALL good...)
  6:51pm JakeGould:

“Catchy But Forgettable” is a nice tattoo idea. Much better than “Meet Me in Montauk.”
Avatar 6:52pm geezerette:

heh heh
  6:52pm JakeGould:

@RevRabbit: Here is your “Alexander Haig” logo. metallica.alwaysdata.net...
Avatar 6:54pm listener mark:

That's why I have little pieces of paper with songs and band names on my desk. I forget the ones I like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

That really works, JakeG!
Avatar 6:55pm geezerette:

Jake,here's yours.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:02pm Scraps:

Veronica Geng had a hilarious piece parodying Robert Christgau, with albums as though by Richard Nixon and Watergate cronies. Geng had Christgau's style DOWN.
  7:03pm JakeGould:

This is some good “Comet Gain” right here.
  7:09pm martp:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm Faye:

Avatar 7:13pm geezerette:

  7:21pm JakeGould:

  7:24pm Mary:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm Uncle Michael:

Good evening.
Avatar 7:29pm geezerette:

  7:29pm Tomophobic Tom from Detroit:

Great great tracks
Avatar 7:31pm TehBadDr:

Wonderful cover of drive!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- made me think of Hope Sandoval.
Avatar 7:36pm geezerette:

Faye, don't know how but you've nailed the zeitgeist.
Managed to give energy and solace.
(Will shut up now.)
  7:44pm JakeGould:

“Agata Morio” has lost control again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

(...Haig has it...)
Avatar 7:49pm listener mark:

Thank you Faye! The best part of the weekend. Time / space to slide over to the astral plane.
Avatar 7:51pm TehBadDr:

Thanx for an excellent show Faye! See you...
  7:52pm JakeGould:

If it weren’t for alcohol, most of us could not have survived this holiday weekend. To beer! To wine! To all of it!
