Ahoy-hoy everyone-- notice the pledge banner at the top of my playlist and know that we have started our annual OCTOBER FUNDRAISER. To pledge $ to this program, please to click the white starburst part.

I will not be talking much about the fundraiser on the show, but we'll be taking pledges all month to continue to keep WFMU and GTDR running until the Marathon in the Spring. Every little bit helps so I beseech you to chip in!

Good afternoon to you all. Welcome to this!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Sean from Bridgeport:

I admire both Tommy Stinson and the koala's strength of purpose.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, all. I want to know what the koala was doing up on the ladder before just the GIF was recorded.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Amanda:

@Ken, I think that's the key to why he's so determined to make tracks...
Avatar 12:15pm ndbob:

afternoon Amanda and everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm Amanda:

Excited about this dreamy Drugdealer CD, a nice find for me this morning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm Amanda:

By the way, not apropos of anything really: one big reason why the Oct. fundraiser is needed this year is that the station is amicably parting ways with Nachum and JM in the AM in a couple of months. If you know the station pretty well, you can imagine this is a big deal! Exciting and terrifying! Just FYI tho
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Uncle Michael:

We're seeing Sir Tom TONIGHT!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm Amanda:

Whoaaaaaaaaa... NO WAY
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm Amanda:

@Uncle Michael, have a terrific time! When you throw your hotel room key on the stage make sure you keep an extra!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Uncle Michael:

And I can't go commando tonight. I need to wear something *special*.

Hey, I lived in Loveland, CO for a short while! (Shorter is better.)
Avatar 1:31pm northguineahills:

That's weird, I've seen that episode many, many, many times, and they've always said "northern KY" family, and I've seen it many different times since it was released on many different formats.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm Amanda:

The plot thickens!!!!!!! V interesting, @ngh. There's a little section on that in the Wikipedia entry for the episode which is how I know I'm not crazy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm Amanda:

@Stevel, too bad you didn't get to see Marge's cabaret show! "So if you see a sheriff, SHOOT HIM!" (pause) "A smile!"
