Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:05pm Rob Kopp:

Good question Dusty's asking. Today was the last day my wife had to work. She's a pensionado now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Avatar 3:13pm djsheilab:

Hello you lovely people! I'm so happy to be back and so much appreciate the warm welcome :) I missed you all!
Avatar 3:13pm The Contessa:

@zm please don't say those words!
  3:13pm Cliff in Prague:

That Instagram looks like it could've been taken the same year as the album cover in it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm listener james from westwood:

There's always at least 1 track from the current year on your show that I need to insta-star, and this Niki track was the one. Wouldn't be surprised if there are more to come!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@The Contessa - Hi, glad to be here. I think I finally solved the mystery of what the previous owner poured down the kitchen sink. It was evidently a funnel of pitch!
  3:19pm zm:

@The Contessa, recommend to recall the scene from RUMBLE FISH Tom Waits the ice parlor keeper says ".. these kids would know..., how many summers left.... how manyyy...
Avatar 3:20pm βrian:

Sabotage, Ken?
Avatar 3:20pm The Contessa:

@Ken, that really made me laugh!

  3:22pm zm:

to me as soon as solistice, it gets me sadder...
Avatar 3:22pm djsheilab:

These last few songs are my attempt to re-create the vibe / mood/ world of the Polanski film, Frantic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm Michael 98145:

what The Contessa said ...
Avatar 3:22pm βrian:

Oh my, autumn is my most favorite time of the year. It's beautiful here in Wisconsin.

The Tenant.
  3:24pm zm:

life is beach meant longing for summer, parting for summer...
Avatar 3:25pm Jeff:

I'll take Amazing Grace any day of the week.
Avatar 3:25pm djsheilab:

@Brian I couldn't watch all of the Tenant. One scene absolutely terrified me, and is still with me today.
Avatar 3:26pm TehBadDr:

Grace! I remember seeing her at of all places a DC BBQ bash way back in the day!
Avatar 3:26pm djsheilab:

@Adrian In London + @The Contessa What an absolute treat to meet you both! Happy you're here with champagne :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm listener james from westwood:

Top 100 album art on this Jones track.
  3:27pm zm:

I thought TENANT was 2nd boiled unoriginal version of Kafka Trial.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Michael 98145:

great track
Avatar 3:30pm TehBadDr:

Never thought Doris Day could be so seductive sounding!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm Michael 98145:

tip o' the hat to the UK
  3:34pm zm:

When I was Paris and London a month ago was way clod, barely over 20c. Hope SB had summer weather there.
Avatar 3:34pm The Contessa:

@Sheila thank you! We loved meeting you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm Adrian in London:

@Sheila Bisoux from London!

Polanski? Really? Not a good guy.
  3:38pm MONEYBAG$:

Never knew that Pale Saints song was a cover
Avatar 3:39pm Antonia:

hi sheila, im from croatia, which is actually a part of former yugoslavia as well as you probably know... im happy to hear you had a very nice time in montenegro, i have never been there actually despite the fact my grandfather was montenegrin. and yugoslavia had a pretty good music scene imo, even though new music released here is pretty bad. admittedly, i dont spend that much time trying to find new cool (former) yugoslav gems
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Safety Dance!
  3:41pm MONEYBAG$:

Unsafety Dance, more like
Avatar 3:44pm TehBadDr:

Lemon Incest, not to be confused with Lemon Party!
Avatar 3:45pm ChrisB.:

Hi Sheila! My friend from Slovenia describes "turbo folk" as "fireman's fair music." It's a collision of polka, disco, and pop that's real drunken party music. Check out You Tube videos for a band called Atomik Harmonik, particularly "Tractor Polka."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm listener james from westwood:

LOL at the segue to Frank and Nancy!
  3:45pm Cooh John:

Set of duets?
Avatar 3:46pm djsheilab:

@ChrisB. Oh awesome! I will. It's such an intriguing description, and that sounds like quite a combo.
  3:46pm Cliff in Prague:

Are we gonna hear "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" from Gigi while we're at it?
Avatar 3:46pm Jeff:

Yeah, a twofer of awkward father-daughter combos!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm Adrian in London:

@CoolJohn: set of incest
Avatar 3:46pm djsheilab:

@Cool John Just two songs of pervy father & daughters.
Avatar 3:47pm geezerette:

Cliff! How's Prague?
  3:47pm MONEYBAG$:

The Robbie Williams/Nicole Kidman version of this song is a guilty pleasure
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm Adrian in London:

We know someone who skipped school and went to NYC to meet Ann-Margret!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm Rob Kopp:

So glad I have Ann Margret's single You turned my head around
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Antonia - My dear uncle Wally was from Croatia. My mom told us that when my aunt introduced him to the family, no one knew where Croatia was. That would've been in the 1950s.
  3:51pm Cliff in Prague:

Hey geezerette! Prague is pretty cool, but I need to learn more Czech to fit in around here - I'm trapped in a tourist/expat bubble at the moment :)
Avatar 3:53pm TehBadDr:

When I think of Ann-Margret, I can't help but to think of lots of beans. Damaged by the 70's!
  3:57pm JakeGould:

Weren't high heel sneakers a thing a year or so back?
  3:58pm ratdad:

Nice version of Hi-Heel Sneakers. I like the Kaleidoscope version as well.
Avatar 3:59pm geezerette:

Cliff, here's to popping that bubble! :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@Jake - Is that what replaced Heelys? The shoes with the hidden rollers in the back?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02pm listener james from westwood:

I saw an ad for high-heel Timberland boots in NYC earlier this week.
  4:02pm zm:

i've never heard of post LOVE DELUXUE Sade.
  4:05pm Cliff in Prague:

Thanks geezerette, I'm trying! :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10pm Rob Kopp:

Sounds like Amy Winehouse, backed up by The Orson Family (No one waits forever)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10pm Adrian in London:

This could be the Montenegrin entry for Eurovision, as long as it goes up half an octave at the end
Avatar 4:11pm dfb:

i heard nothing remarkable about this song --
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11pm chris:

this would kill on the charts... if it were the theme to the latest bond film
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm Rob Kopp:

And looks like Ann-Margret
  4:13pm Cooh John:

Like a James Bond theme.
  4:14pm zm:

gotta go. catch you later.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm Wendy del Formaggio:
