Tim from Schenectady is on his way here. Hopefully we'll catch Guida's 4:20 set at PRB at Stone Pony today. Thanks Todd!

...so - is this Mott song about having to locomote publically whilst being an uncontrollably sexually aroused male - or what? I haz wondered since the 70s...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Cliff:

"I mean business!" - and then you play the Rolling Stones :D
Avatar 3:21pm geezerette:

Hollywood Royalty,it's a gas-gas-gas!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

'I Can Only Give' may be a Van/Them tune - but that were definitely rippin' in the MC5 version stylee. Mercy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm Cliff:

Is Todd-o-phonic Todd a fan of Vinyl?
Avatar 3:22pm BadGuyZero:

It is stormin' in Dallas right now. I don't know if it's crossfire hurricane stormin' though.
  3:29pm rob steffens:

maybe james mastro and graham maby with ian tomorrow?

I don't think much of anything's going on in the State of Connecticut, it's all very quaint and fancy over there (well, except for New Haven)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...originally of course 'Hang On to Your Ego'...but Mike Love couldn't hang w/ that...
Avatar 3:38pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Cliff I'll ask Illeana, she's from CT.! I'm a fan of vinyl but I don't mind playing other formats (as long as they work!).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm Cliff:

Yeah, I'm a fan of vinyl (with a small "v") too! I don't get HBO so I don't know about that other thing named Vinyl
Avatar 3:45pm Joe B:

They did just release a few tickets for the Feelies tonight. Also, people are selling extras on the facebook event page so check it out.

Hey! Watch it! I'm working on some Hard Rock Cafe art this very minute. If HRC goes down baby won't get a new pair of shoes!
Avatar 4:09pm David Shortell:

I heard that Illeana is related somehow to Helen Gahagan Douglas, the California congresswoman who ran against Nixon in that notorious 1950 US Senate race.
Avatar 4:10pm Mailman Tom:

Melvyn Douglas is one of my favorite Hollywood movie stars. Great actor !
Avatar 4:13pm JakeGould:

Yup. Seeing movies nowadays is not like the old days before streaming, cable and home video. It’s all anti-social nowadays. Used to be a real social event back in the day.
Avatar 4:16pm JakeGould:

“I Blame Dennis Hopper” at Amazon. www.amazon.com...
Avatar 4:17pm BadGuyZero:

I'll watch any movie that John Garfield was in. It's a shame that his career was cut short due to being part of the Hollywood blacklist. "Dust Be My Destiny" is a John Garfield flick that everyone should see.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Perhpas...the way I'd hoped MTV would take TV up to the level of Music - but mostly helped bring Music down to the level of TV
...the gushing firehose of exposure we get now - & the instantaneous nature of access - levels all Media (home/theatre/...palm device) out equally...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm Brian C.:

Dang, missed the Feelies tune. How was the show last night? I have tix for tonight. Thx Joe B. for updates!
Avatar 4:24pm JakeGould:

“Dirty Mary Crazy Larry” trailer. www.youtube.com...
  4:25pm ScottC:

Hey! Melvin Douglas looks exactly like the evil character from the game "Bioshock". I wonder if the estate got paid for that?
Avatar 4:30pm geezerette:

She was in "To Die For" as Matt Dillon's sister & she was wonderful!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Another great show on Illeana :
...Been said 'Easy Rider' was the 1st film they used their rekkid collection for a soundtrack !...
Avatar 4:33pm David Shortell:

Reading further into it, I see that Rep. Douglas was Melvyn Douglas' second wife. That would make her Illeana's step-grandmother.
Avatar 4:33pm geezerette:

Thanks Todd,great interview. :D
Avatar 4:35pm Joe B:

great job Todd. McGuinn showed up at the Mudcrutch gig last night for 3 songs
Avatar 4:36pm JakeGould:

Excellent interview, Todd.
Avatar 4:37pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Thanks Joe and everyone! McGuinn did "American Girl" before introducing Tom Petty at The Songwriters Hall Of Fame Thursday night.
Avatar 4:39pm Joe B:

wow. were you there?
Avatar 4:40pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Joe B: snuck in through the back door.
Avatar 4:43pm Joe B:

i saw sheila reference the event. assuming they let her in the front door.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm Fox (Rā-chul):

Rose McGowan is bad ass!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:04pm Matt in Nebraska:

Before I was even aware of the Todd-o-phonic Todd Show, this tune from the "Shakin' Fit" comp rocked my world!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm Fox (Rā-chul):

Thanks, Rose McGowan, for being a lady with a shaved head! Solidarity!

Eartha Kitt. was "discovered" by Orson Welles, who in 1955 called her "the most exciting woman alive."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm melville:

Good to hear someone standing up for Clara Bow. She was amazing and had a sad life.
