Very nice, pretty picture of Shena Ringo on her album cover. I suspect she may have dyed/bleached her hair somewhat.

Oh, yes, those record dealers have all the luck! Wish I were there! Re: country music, there is a long tradition of witty country lyrics. Glad you found some good country stations on that southern route. I mostly found religious stations playing fake follk nd rock music, but with a couple good exceptions.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 4/29/16 3:38pm BriJet:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 4/29/16 3:54pm BriJet:

@Cliff: I long for that fuzzy 90s guitar that sounds like a momma kitty purring. :) I was into different stuff then, but feel nostalgic when I hear it now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 4/29/16 3:55pm Gaylord Fields:

Lou Christie in forever enshrined in the GG Hall of Fame for producing and co-writing "Egyptian Shumba," by the Tammys!

Mark r, you can't patent vocal chords!
Avatar Fri. 4/29/16 3:58pm Mick:

Such a great set!! You lucky Record Fair people!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 4/29/16 3:59pm Gaylord Fields:

@mark r: There were many falsetto singers in the '60s. It was a relatively common style going back to the '50s. Besides, Christie was very different fro Valli in that he went from a low tenor to a falsetto, rather than Valli's high tenor to falsetto.
Avatar    Fri. 4/29/16 4:00pm SeanG:

I actually thought I hated Motley Crue but I like this one! Gaylord, you're far more versed in that era than me. They all sound alike to my untrained philistine ears.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Fri. 4/29/16 4:09pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Funny how the Kylie Minogue and Mötley Crüe album covers very nearly combine to form the picture of a person standing there.
