So, who's gonna be in da UP this Summer? Cecile and I need to plan the annual WFMU listener meet-up in Houghton, it may have to be August though...

Never been to the UP, but I just learned there were apparently POW camps there during WWII.

P-90:

So it's the buzzworthy quote du jour that Seaker John Boehner called Ted Cruz "Lucifer in the flesh." At first I had it wrong, I thought it was the other way around, that Cruz was referring to Boehner. I thought: that's the first smart, courageous truth I've heard from Ted Cruz since this whole Failure of The Democratic Process To Produce a Sane Election began... But no.

Failure is an excellent teacher, as Diane was saying in the interview earlier

I know that I am supposed to like and be impressed by this film. I think the idea of the story is great and theoretically; an interesting concept. Don't get me wrong I love weird artsy shit. I have watched it several times and I just find myself so bored and annoyed. I am slightly haunted, though, by the images of a man (with weird glasses or something?) in a hammock in the catacombs. It is much better just listening to the record.
