If anybody here was reading Trouble's comments, I see at 9:51 when I tried to write "bed music", it came out "bad music". Autocorrect does such things.

Well, that Los Z-66 track was some enduringly insane riffage.

Coincidentally, Jonesy & X Ray were discussing goth chicks on Sunday…
  12:37pm miketp:

Goombahlino was dancing too!

Z-66 was a cover of "Race with the Devil" by 60s hard-proggers The Gun... must say I like it better than the English version.

ahhhh my mistake.
  1:29pm Cliff:

I tried natto sushi once, it was definitely a unique taste, heh. Most people don't like it (even in Japan)
  1:29pm JakeGould:

I like Gulden’s mustard. And I hate the fact that Whole Foods serves that gunky organic mustard in their prepared food café. Bleagh!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm Greg from ZONE 5:

Sunshine & The Rain AGAIN?
Awwwwww yeah, AGAIN AND AGAIN!
  1:42pm JakeGould:

@steve: No. But I’m pitching it at Smorgasburg/Brooklyn Flea for a mid-Summer 2016 launch with a food truck coming in the fall and then a small mini boutique chain planned for the spring of 2017 if I can attract investors.
Avatar 1:43pm steve:

haha, you're joking but its all too real
Avatar 1:44pm steve:

is Pale Blue Skies not officially song of the year at this point? it gets my vote.
Avatar 1:44pm Cheyenne:

Haha I know -- it's so gooood. Sunshine & the Rain for PRESIDENT
  1:45pm JakeGould:

@steve: Have you seen some of the shit folks are trying to sell at artisans flea markets as food? And for money? Here is another foodie business idea: The $10 cookie! For $10 you will get an amazing cookie wrapped lovingly in some amazing looking paper that is wax sealed by a small child… With love!
  1:47pm Cliff:

I'm only interested if that's a fair-trade cookie with the proceeds going to support indigenous cultures.
Avatar 1:47pm bobdoesthings:

Oh I meant to comment more on Natto before... it contains a good amount of vitamin K2, K1 is pretty common in heavy cruciferous greens like Kale.. but K2 is rare (especially in western diets) .. which is why I've been meaning to get into Natto.. FWIW/FYI.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48pm foofs:

What flavour wax?
  1:49pm JakeGould:

@Cliff: These $10 cookies will be made with love by indigenous children of other cultures we lured to the shop by giving them candy and opening a can of soda in front of them so they can be amazed at the tingly carbonation.
Avatar 1:50pm steve:

haha. Jake, i avoid stuff like Smorgasburg like the plague... though i think you're onto something!
Avatar 1:50pm bobdoesthings:

i was walking in prospect park sunday and saw a bunch of tents.. and got excited.. then once I was amongst tents realized it was a 'Smorgasburg" thing... couldnt get outta that horde fast enough...
  1:51pm Eric:

have some cheese
Avatar 1:51pm Cheyenne:

Who wants to eat a burg anyway????
Avatar 1:51pm bobdoesthings:

I thought it was only in Williamsburg... didn't know about prospect park.. I felt like I was tricked!!
  1:53pm JakeGould:

@steve: Well, I will be fair… There are a few good vendors at that facacta food market like the Red Hook food vendors that make some genuinely amazing food. And Lucy’s Vietnamese? They have a stand there that usually serves spring rolls that are fresh and amazing. Their Bushwick shop is pretty great too… Best Vietnamese I have ever had in NYC or elsewhere.
  1:53pm JakeGould:

@Cheyenne: A ginat monster with no respect for human life?
Avatar 1:54pm steve:

dude its totally cloudy in north BK right now
  1:54pm JakeGould:

@steve: Sucks! I want to be outside and dry!
Avatar 1:55pm steve:

im sure there is good food at those things... the whole vibe weirds me out though. my sister, who is a great person but who i cannot hold a conversation with for more than 5 minutes, is a "foodie" person. and i've determined there's something fundamentally different about music/film/art/design types vs foodie types.
  1:56pm barry d:

Great to hear you on the air!
Avatar 1:57pm bobdoesthings:

@steve --- oooooo. please go on! haha, seriously what do you think is different bout'em? do you lump the new flux of beer-snobs in with them?
  1:57pm JakeGould:

@steve: Eh… Okay… But I like to make the best out of things… Like checking out the artisanal soda stands at places like that, laughing at the flavors and asking, “Do you have any normal soda? Like cola? Normal cola without a lavender infusion?”
Avatar 1:58pm TDK60:

I'll have that on a bed of gluten free craft turntable.
